Petal and Pup Dana Denim Midi Skirt

Love the skirt but it's a little big around the hips for me. I probably should have gone one size smaller than my usual. I got it on sale and the smaller size is no longer available, so I will keep it and see how I can make it work for me.

I ended up buying two because I loved them so much. I bought the smaller size the second time and it fits much better!

I never ever write reviews but I had to for these. As a big hip/small waist girlie, finding a denim midi that fits right has been painful. I’m 5’3”, 138 lbs and athletic, and these fit perfectly. The texture is amazing, they feel like your favorite pair of Levi’s that you’ve washed enough times to soften up the fabric. Feels like wearing a cozy t-shirt, but it’s a denim skirt. I also appreciate that the slit isn’t all the way up to my nether regions like with so many denim midis these days, so it’s appropriate for a lot of different occasions/contexts. I bought the blue wash and black, then fell so in love with these I bought a second pair in each wash.

Soft denim, love the classic style esp for my age (56), seems to run large, I’m 5’6” 170 and ordered sz 10 which is plenty long and a bit roomy but afraid sz 8 might be too tight in waist. Looks cute with boots and short jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally wear an 8-10 to clothing, 5’8” ~155. I originally ordered size 10 which was fine if I wanted it to fit at high waste. I returned it for a size 12. Fits perfectly mid waste. The material is so soft and perfect flow for a Jean skirt. Love it! Now I wish they had the exact same skirt with the slit in the back.

I had been looking for a denim skirt forever. I am so glad that I found Petal and Puo it fits great and is made well. I love their clothes!

I wore this to school to teach in. It was really comfy. I got a size 6. I am 5’8, 150lbs with an athletic build and for me this was a great size. If you’re not a muscular build I would size down. I wore it with a body suit, sweater and wedges. I will probably pair it with a sweater and boots as the weather starts to cool. Loved this skirt!
