Petal and Pup Womens Marea Dress

I bought this dress to wear to a barn wedding. I’m pairing it with a Jean jacket and love it. It is delicate and feminine without being too dressy or over the top. The fabric is super soft. The only negative is the straps loosen over time but I threw a quick stitch right under the clasp and it stopped it from sliding.

I got this dress for a wedding, and it was the perfect dress for the occasion. It fit true to size, and it arrived earlier than expected.

Got this dress for my anniversary dinner with my husband. Fit perfectly when I tried it on and loved it! Fast forward to actually having to wear it for dinner, it did not hold up. Since the material is silky the strap adjuster does not stay in place nor did the tie in the back, all of it just would get loose and that’s just with me sitting in a chair at dinner. After having to adjusted the left strap it completely broke due to poor sewing. It was pretty embarrassing having to have my husband tied the two straps together at an expensive restaurant. Definitely would not buy again and I’m hoping the other two dresses I bought for two upcoming weddings do not do the same thing.

This is so cute on the model but it scrunches up on top of my butt under where the gap is in the back. The gap is huge and doesn't sit right. The cowl neck isn't that flattering unless you have a push up bra. I bought it because I loved the pattern. It is a beautiful dress but better on the hanger.

I bought this dress based off of other good reviews. I truly give this. 4.5 stars. Pros: Keeps the chest covered, even did the bend off test Good length Good quality Easy to move around in Don’t have to wear a bra, I am choosing to wear Cakes body covers. Work perfectly with the dress Can easily tie the top part to your preference of tightness Cons: Due to the material, the straps slip. I will be fixing this with a few stitches. Also due to material, the dress is super staticky. Not a huge issue and can be fixed easily. True to size; I bought a size 8. My specs are 36A, 30” waist, 36” hip. 5’7 height and the dress hits just below the knees. Athletic body type. Could have sized down to a 6 but I’m comfortable in the 8.

This dress has the perfect colors for a fall wedding! I love the look and the way I felt in this dress.

Pretty dress and great colors. Fit true to size. The back is really flattering too and helps fit the dress according to how you want. I couldn’t get the neck line to land well, but I guess that’s just the style.

The satin was gorgeous, the color was perfect, but unfortunately, being a 36DDD, I had to return this dress. I’ll give it another try after I get my breast reduction surgery.

I bought this to wear as a guest at a summer wedding and it is perfect! The material is the right amount of light and airy without feeling like I’m too exposed. I also like that I’m covered with little hints of “sexy” with the leg slit and low back. I’m excited to start finding accessories to go with it!

With that said, I've never ordered from Petal and Pup before so I wasn't sure what size I'd be. I'm a little disappointed that they don't offer free returns for first time clients. I might buy from a distributor next time instead.
