How to use:
(1) Start by cleansing with an oil-free cleanser. Make sure skin is completely dry. Do not use cream around the eye area. (2) Shake the tube. Apply a pea-sized amount to the top of the hand. (3) Using a clean, dry makeup brush, pick up a tiny amount of the product. (4) Using upward strokes, spread a thin layer of the gel underneath the eyes for puffiness, onto the crow's feet area, onto the "11" lines between the brows, and beneath and above the brow bone (but not on the moveable eyelid). (5) Let the product dry for approximately 5 minutes while remaining expressionless—do not squint or smile. (6) If you notice any white residue, simply moisten a cotton swab (or your fingertip) and remove excess by gently patting the edges. (7) Once product is completely dry, you are good to go! You can gently pat on foundation and/or apply powder. For external use only

Q: Can you wear makeup on top of this product?

A: It says that you can wear makeup over this, however, if any moisture touches it than it relaxes and you lose the effect. Maybe just powder on top would be ok, but definitely not a cream or liquid

The product for tightening the skin does as it says but, for women who wear makeup daily it is most difficult to use because of the white residue and after a little while the tightness around the eyes cracks making the wrinkles and bag more profound. I am hoping the new formula fixes these issues as people claim it does. It is expensive and needs to be wearable with or without makeup.

Works as a stand alone on bare skin but does not work mixed with concealer, foundation or powder. When mixed it would marble makeup uneven causing patches of white and crusting also made product not work as good seeing bags, wrinkles and puffiness still. Tried applying under concealer, mixing in concealer, applying over concealer and over concealer and powder. Nothing worked causing me to return product.

I tried this out on my husband. I warmed it up a bit and applied under his eyes and forehead and fanned it a bit. As it dried I could see the area I applied it to was very matte and left a white cast. It looked terrible!!! Don't fall for it.

This is the only product out there that dramatically reduces eye puffiness in less than a minute. It's my holy grail. I've tried all the other 'viral' creams, and this one prevails. That said, there are a few steps you should take for a successful result. You may experience little white specs that can appear after application, or you may see them as you dispense. Because this dries so fast, I think some of the product gets dried specs in its tubing, after exposed to air. Successful outcome - Prepare your skin - 1) Wash your face as normal, drying lightly. 2) Apply your oil/cream/serums as usual. 3) Let the products you just applied soak completely into your skin before applying the #PTRFirmxEye serum. (Make sure you wipe away any product left on skin. Gently wet your under eye area with fingertips and then gently pat dry) 4) Dispense a tiny amount of serum onto your ring fingers and gently pat under eye area. Patting gently until absorbed. Quickly replace the cap from the bottle, preventing air will help keep the product from breaking down. And prevent those white specs from forming. You will not be disappointed!!

Im not impressed. Tried to use this product but having issues with white residue. I apply and wait can feel the tightening, but when I apply a thin layer and wait as directed, then apply moisturizer, the tightening i felt before applying moisturizer is gone and I still have the white residue. Not a lot of the white residue, but enough to be very frustrating. I've tried to use this product for about 3 weeks now and I'm just not seeing any benefit. This product is pricey and from my experience, NOT worth the money I paid.

I love and am a champion for many PTR products, but this one is just awful. If you rub it in well, it leaves a thin white film all around your eyes. If you rub it in less, it dries into white flakes and makes you look like your skin is peeling. If you apply eye moisturizer over the white film, it loses its tightening effect. Given all the positive reviews, is it possible I just got a dud batch? Very very disappointing and absolutely would not recommend to anyone.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firmx Eye Easy Wear Formula to be really effective. It comes with a great quality application brush, however it can also be applied gently with finger tips. It works amazingly on under eye areas, above eyes at corners for crows feet, under & below brow for brow lift. The formula is of medium consistency but goes on easily, lightweight, non sticky. A little goes a long way for this formula. When applied a thin layer, it goes on without residue & pilling. This formula instantly firmed, tightened, smoothed my fine lines surrounding my eyes, including crows feet. It blurred the visibility of age signs surrounding my eyes, reduced puffiness. I felt a slight eye-tightening sensation of the skin surrounding my eyes when this formula dried.

I wouldn't wear it every day but it's a good boost to your self-confidence when you are having those days when you want that extra lift. This product visibly reduces puffiness, fine lines, and wrinkles, providing a more youthful and smoother appearance . The texture absorbs quickly without leaving greasy residue and I can put my SPF moisturizer and foundation over it. I am considering buying this product as a Christmas gift extra for the great women in my life.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The product definitely works. It tightened up and decided the lines under my eyes (I don't really have bags or dark circles though). When applying to the first (left) eye it went well. It took only a minute to feel it working about five to six minutes to fully dry. The second (right) eye I must have got a bit too much product on it, as it left a tinted line under my eye. Unfortunately I'm not sure this product is a good fit for my lifestyle. I don't wear make-up so can't cover up the shiny residue it leaves behind (as you can see in the video). Would be a wonder product though assuming it can go under make-up. Truly effective!
