The design was very basic, and I didn't find any standout features that made them better than other options on the market. The nipples did fit securely onto the bottles and were easy to attach, which was a plus. Cleaning was also straightforward, as they have a simple design without too many hidden spots for milk to get stuck. However, the ease of use stopped there due to the frustrating flow rate. This was the most frustrating aspect. The flow rate was far too slow for my baby, regardless of which flow I tried. It seemed to take an incredibly long time for him to finish a single feeding, which led to him getting frustrated and tired before he was full. It definitely didn't seem like the right pace for him. My baby's response to these nipples was not good at all. The slow flow made him fussy and impatient during feedings. He would often pull away from the bottle, cry, and seemed to get frustrated by how hard he had to work to get the milk. It made feeding time a stressful experience for both of us.

I really like the wide nipples and they are sturdy! They don’t cave in while my baby eats and he seems to like the shape and use of them. The flow size is a teensy misleading as my baby is both breast/bottle fed and should use a flow 1 based on age, but does much better with this flow 2 size for a more natural flow rate. Overall, I definitely recommend and would purchase this product!

We have a few of these bottles in the 4oz size that came with slower flow nipples so it is nice to have the extra faster nipples in flow 2 on hand to use in the smaller bottles. The milk does stay in the nipple of the bottle and the antic-colic seems to be effective. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing for providing me with this nipple set.

They are super easy to assemble and clean. I previously bought nipples from a different brand that had so many pieces to clean. These make clean up and storage a breeze, which is a huge plus given our busy lifestyle. The nipples fit securely in the bottles and do not leak from the sides, but are easily removable from the rim of the bottle when it’s time to wash. The material seems quality and has held up to my teething little one! My baby has issues with gas after bottle feedings and the flow of these nipples is just right for him! He mostly breastfeeds and we had issues with other nipples being too difficult to get milk out of or milk pouring out too fast and causing more gas and spitting up. My favorite thing about these nipples is that the milk flow seems to mimic the natural pace of breastfeeding and allows my baby to drink at his own pace. No more gas or crying, which is such a relief for us both!

It’s important to me to have a nipple that encourages a wide latch. These ones fit the bill! However, the size 2 was a little too fast for my baby. I think the size 1 would be perfect. The material is also pretty firm, so if your baby likes a soft bottle nipple, your mileage may vary. They seem very sturdy and I am not worried about tears.

The Philips Avent Anti-Colic Nipples fit seamlessly with the Philips Avent bottles for a quick set-up. This was useful when my loved one was extra fussy (I could get the bottle ready within 30 seconds!) I also appreciated the thicker material and the snug fit with the bottle. I never had to worry about drips while feeding or spills when the bottle was in the diaper bag. The shape of the nipple worked okay for my loved one. The flow was slightly faster than expected, and I had to pace the feed to keep my little one comfortable. However, I didn’t notice any gas or spit up issues, which was great. One thing to keep in mind about these nipples is that the size is wider than some other brands. For me, this meant I could not sterilize as many during the same cycle in my sterilizer. Also, the ridges in the nipple meant that they did not get fully dried in the sterilizer. Overall, these two issues were inconvenient enough that I would not use these for every day feeding.

The nipples are consistent, and fit securely onto the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle with no leaking. It’s been super helpful that the kit contains 4 nipples so there is always at least one that is washed/clean and dry. My baby is 4 months old now and the flow is a great pace - quick enough so that she’s not getting frustrated but also slow enough to prevent gulping/gas and she has taken to them quickly (baby approved)! The nipples are great quality and have held up through multiple washes and the sterilizer several times with no warping/changes. If you already use the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottles, these durable and effective nipples are a clear-cut choice! These nipples work with the Phillips avent anti colic bottle system, and having different sizes was such a blessing. Thank you Stellar product testing panel for sending me these as they answered my husbands prayers!! He does the bottle feeding and has complained about cleaning bottles ( which with extra nipples and easy to clean bottles he doesn’t get upset with now!) and the flow rate/ she would get fussy when the flow wasn’t fast enough so now we know to adjust the nipple either up or down. We go down when she’s just wanting the comfort and maybe some milk, and then up when we know she’s hungry. We used a different product for our first 2 and it honestly makes such a difference being able to adjust flow. I loved how they came in a pack so I didn’t have a ton of one that we didn’t need. The numbers are also easy to read on the nipple so even newbs like dad can help! They fit easily within the Phillips system, literally just pop them in and pull them till there’s a seal! But every baby is different and mine doesn’t usually like talking a bottle, but she will when the flow rate is right( like with these).

My little one is 2 months old and we have had issues with him being gassy and uncomfortable after bottle feeds. After switching to the Avent anti-colic bottles/nipples, I have noticed a big improvement in his comfort which is such a relief as a mother. We were sent the Flow 2 nipples which is still a little too fast for my little guy. I will definitely told hold to them until he is a little bit older. In the meantime I have switched over to Flow 1 which has been perfect. The nipples fit perfectly on the bottles, are easy to switch out, and have been easy to clean. This product in combination with their bottles is a must try for parents with gassy babies.

My baby is 11mo and this was the prefect flow for her. They pop in and out of the bottle and are super easy to clean. Not much more you can as for out of a nipple. 10/10 for me!

I really wanted to like these nipples, but they just didn’t work well for my two-month-old. The best part is that they fit securely on the bottles we have—no leaks there—and they’re simple enough to attach and clean. The design feels sturdy, so at first I thought they’d be a good option. The problem is the flow. Even though these are supposed to be anti-colic, the flow was way too fast for a younger baby. My little one would cough and struggle to keep up, which kind of defeats the purpose of a soothing, calm feed. It felt like he was gulping more than drinking comfortably, and that made me second-guess using them altogether. Overall, I liked the fit and quality, but the flow rate just wasn’t right for our stage, so we won’t be sticking with them. May come in handy though when our little one is a bit older. Pros: secure fit, sturdy design, easy to clean/attach Cons: flow way too fast for younger babies, made my baby cough

They are not interchangeable with the natural response nipples and they DO drip when tipped over. Definitely a great pack of spares for the anti colic system, though! They fit perfectly and are easy to clean. I breast feed and bottle feed interchangeably and my 3 month old had no issues taking these nipples and didn’t change his latch on my breast - I actually think it helped him with his latch on me even more! Flow rate was perfect for him also. Definitely recommend these to any parent!
