Poor product holder. Can't get the much of out
I bought this 1 week ago and still can't figure out how to get more of the product than what is barely sticking out of the tip. I read the really tiny print and it says to sharpen.but there's no sharpener. Then I go on this site and see that other people are having the same probmem. I would really like my money back.

took a hot minute to figure out how to get it out!
I do love this lipstick, but after trying to figure out how to twist the pencil up i came on here to read everyones comments. I figured out that the end comes off and you can just push the colorant up the tube but you have to have something to push it with which is tricky and a bit messy but i dont see any reaosn I cant get full use of the lipstick. - you do not have to sharpen though.

I bought this a month ago in the Love Letters shade. It a beautiful shade, and easily replaces my old discontinued shade I bought from Tarte. I love everything about the actual lipstick. My only complaint is the packaging is terrible. The bottom came unglued immidiately after purchasing (in fact it might have already been loose) resulting in a constant mess and constant product loss. While I love the glossy moisturizing consistency of the product, it melts through the loose bottom cap, making me loose product from the application end. The product also was sold with no seals over the packaging so I was unsure if the lipsitck was meant to be 1/4 low from the length size of the fo-wooden stick. Seemed to be lacking product in the first place and again, I was unsure if this was on purpose or not.

I just bought this, came home to try the color and the tip broke off. Now I have to make another trip out before I can sharpen it. I gave it 3 stars because I do love the shade and how it feels on my lips

Overrated

Disappointed in the packaging
While I love the actual lip gloss, the packaging is very poor. I specifically came on to this website to find out how to expand the lip gloss when the tip became low and have realized from the other reviews that I am not the only one with concerns. Too bad, it is a super lip gloss. Very surprised of the quality of the packaging given that it comes from a very good company.

Less then expected
I have a sensitivity to most lip sticks but could wear the Rose Kiss part of a day, it did not cause my lips to burn. It goes on nicely, if you are careful with the tip, or used an applicator, so the lip stick does not break off. But the fact you have such a small amount, it is too costly to replace when it runs out. Redesign into a roll up lip stick, and it will sell better.

I bought 3 pencils and love them so much. I have one in my purse, one in my work desk and one in my vanity. Yes have to apply it with not too much pressure.

Lip colour
I bought this product and the sharpener. The sharpener is too small for the stick and breaks. There is no way to sharpen this product. The lipstick is actually really very lovely but it’s packaging need a major redesign.

Great product however…
I love the Rose kiss all day glossy lip color in mauve. It matches beautifully and has a nice feel, very light scent. However…. As others have mentioned, the sharpening of the product is the pits. I even went to the trouble of buying the Physicians Formula sharpener and it STILL eats it and is a mess. Please come up with a better solution

Do I have to give it even one star? Wish I'd read the reviews before I bought this. Agree with others that the color and consistency is fine, but getting the product to advance out the tube when the first little bit wears down is a nightmare. Ruined my sharpener and the rest of the lipstick just clumped up and fell out of the tube. Completely unacceptable. Shame on you, Physicians Formula. I would've expected much better.

Absolutely gorgeous colors and lovely feel on my lips, but OMG why, why, WHY would you make a lip product this soft and creamy without a twist-up tube!! As many other reviewers have noted, the only way you can get more than the little nub of product that is showing is by using a sharpener, but the lip color is far too soft for that. So, you lose all the color anyway in the sharpening process. It is heartbreaking to find such a lovely product packaged in a way that makes it un-usable. Save yourself the heartbreak and try something else.

Love the colour, goes on smoothly, and lasts. I assumed the product twisted up when I bought it, but when that didn't work had to go online to have to find out how to use this lipstick (not something anyone should have to do IMO). Tried sharpening to get some use out of this, but a lot of the lipstick crumbled into little pieces. Now it just looks yucky - so while there's a bit of lipstick left after all the sharpening, it's just too disappointing to use.
