I would recommend for children 3+ if they are learning about the ocean or are fascinated with the ocean. My daughter loved them ! And continue to play with them

Almost perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid was super excited for this because sure we already have a set of regular magnetic tiles. This was was so nice to look at and the addition of the animals was fun. The only issue is the animals have small magnets and so you can only stick them on in specific areas and they slide around and hang strangely because of this.

We spent over 40 minutes playing with this and the fun animal magnets! I will say that the tiles are fragile so be very gentle and careful. Otherwise your creation might come tumbling down! Love it!

The larger blocks and triangles have strong enough magnets to keep the pieces in place while they play. The sea creatures have smaller, weaker magnets so my kid has trouble getting them to stay where she wants them. They do seem to be durable enough and I don't fear the magnets will come out inadvertently.
