It also comes with the two utensils for serving salads and fruit so that was a plus. Only reason I knocked off a star was because it is listed as a large bowl and it is actually a bit smaller than the two salad bowls I already have (and was hoping to replace with this one). So for the price I was expecting it to be a bit bigger. I still love this design and especially that it has handles. Makes it look so much cooler!

It is sturdy and more on the heavier side, the handles come in very handy. It is not too big, would hold enough salad for 4-6 people. I will use it also as fruitsbasket. I made the mistake of putting the serving forks into the dishwasher and the wood warped a bit— disappointing because I do dishwasher everything! Mixing the salad in this bowl is easy as it's high and deep enough. One thing I dislike is when the salad dressing seems to absorb more to the bowl than the salad itself. That is not the case with this. The spoons were an added addition also. Highly recommend this salad bowl from Ciotola.
