Arrived broken twice

Giving a 2 star rating for how pretty they are, though it should be a 1 star for how terribly Target's shipping depts handled them. They arrived broken twice, and Target refused to send a third replacement. They refunded instead. Perhaps Target should invest some money in training to wrap/box. They must be losing a lot of money. Every order I've ever had, had at least one broken item in the box.

These are so cute but the functionality is lacking. They are so fragile and they don’t stack properly. Sadly had to return :(

Beautiful bowls but the ceramic feels very thin. It feels like one wrong bump and I’m going to break them. I recommend buying them in the store because one came broken already when shipped. They also say hand wash only which is odd for ceramic.

I bought these to use with flameless candles. They are charming!

This is the third time I have ordered an item from Target that was not wrapped with anything & came broken. The packaging department needs some training on how to wrap. My item was in a huge box with a lamp shape & just tossed around inside 🤬

I am not sure why this was wrapped in paper only as it is fragile but item arrived broken.

So I received these, may return, assuming they were dishwasher safe per the description. Opened them today and they specifically say “hand wash only”. They’re beautiful, petite and lightweight, but now I’m worried about the longevity of the color. Will think on it!

Cute, dainty bowls. Definitely delicate. Would be great for smaller fruits like cherries or blueberries. Larger berries like strawberries would only fit like 3-4 in the bowl. Like other reviewers mentioned, mine arrived broken in transit which was a bummer.

Too fragile! Had to return!

No. These are made of a lightweight ceramic and break easily. All the holes only make them more fragile and that’s so disappointing because the coloring is excellent. I’ve bought others like this from years past and they have good weight and sizing. Also- 3 orders of these items and vases and every box arrived broken in pieces because they were simply placed in xlg box together with some brown paper. So don’t get shipped- maybe get in store or curbside and decide there but I won’t ship again.

Bowls are cute but falsely advertised. Online says they are dishwasher safe but once they were recieved, the bowls say hand wash only. Bowls are not that stackable. Love the colors though.

I was SO excited when I saw Hearth & Hand released new berry bowls for fall—especially in these adorable seasonal colors that look perfect in my kitchen! I had the previous version and absolutely loved them. I used them daily to rinse berries and produce, and even after accidentally dropping one from the top of my fridge (which broke, sadly), I had been waiting and hoping they’d release more. As soon as I saw the new ones online, I ordered them immediately since my store didn’t have them in stock yet—I couldn’t risk them selling out! Unfortunately, while the design and colors are beautiful, the quality just isn’t the same. They feel noticeably thinner and lighter than the originals. I even weighed them out of curiosity: the original bowls were 319 grams, and the new ones are just 193 grams. That’s a big drop in quality. I’m still going to use them, and they do look lovely on the counter, but I really miss the sturdiness and quality of the older version. If you’re looking for something purely decorative or lightweight, they might work for you—but for everyday, functional use, the originals were far superior.
