Pillsbury Baking Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix - 18.4oz

I googled “best brownie mix” and a top baker said this. She was not wrong. It is perfectly chewy, cracked top, chocolaty but not too fudgy. If not making brownies from scratch, will always reach for this brand

Love these brownies! I always add m&m’s because my kids kids love them! Perfect every time.

Not sure if it’s fudge or they’re just not cooked . Baked them like the instructions said and still mushy in the middle . Kept putting in the oven to see if it will fully cook and nothing . The edges ended up being hard n burned will not but this again

I'm wondering if I have the same box of brownie mix as all the five star reviews (it is the same box) because these are the worst brownies I've ever eaten. They taste like they wish they were cake or brownies and yet fail at both abysmally. The flavor is weird, definitely not chocolate, very artificial. They have a similar texture to cake but not quite and they definitely do not have the texture of normal brownies that are dense and heavy in the chocolate flavor and texture. I prefer dense normal brownies with crispy flaky crust that forms on top, these have a half brownie half cake texture on top and throughout. I followed the directions exactly and made these twice as I had ordered two boxes at once before trying them. They were horrible both times. I made my husband gluten free brownies that actually tasted better than these and I don't normally even like gluten free flavor yet they were still better than whatever this is because it isn't a brownie.

These are the best boxed brownies. I don’t cook them more than 20-22 min in a 13x9. Cut when warm but set. They are great! I used to buy a different brand but these make the best if you aren’t doing homemade. So easy and fudgey.

Good flavor but took way too long to cook. I had to keep putting them back in the oven because the center was like a lava cake. In my 8x8 pan, they took over 1 hour 20 minutes to cook through while the edges burned.

Easy to make and tasted yummy

I like the DH brand, but after making these brownies back to back with a pan of DH, Pillsbury Fudge Brownie mix is far superior. For the record, I never use oil in the recipe. I always substitute it for unsweetened applesauce because I think the oil makes cake and brownie mixes taste oily. But for the Fudge Brownies, I use 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce and one HEAPING tablespoon of Sour Cream to make up for the oil. The result is super moist and more of a homemade flavor. That said, I make the DH brownies the exact same way, and I think Pillsbury taste far more authentic....just like homemade! This is my boxed brownie mix of choice now! PS - Sprinkle the top with crushed walnuts or Mini M&M's and it is absolutely out of this world!

This is the absolute best brownie mix. So fudgey the knife can barely make a clean cut. So easy and tasty

I bought Pillsbury because the brand that I normally buy (Duncan Hines) was out of stock. It is a good brownie mix!

I bought these because they said they made 13*9 inch pan. I was pleasantly surprise by how delicious these actual were and they had the perfect texture. I swirled some chocolate syrup in the batter right before baking but even by themselves these brownies would’ve been good. I will definitely buy again

Nice brownies. Slightly cake-like. I prefer brownies to be richer, but these are alright for the price.

This recipe calls for way too much oil. 2/3 cup is a lot! These came out greasy. Could not eat.

I was not expecting this to taste better than other higher priced brownie mixes but my husband and I actually liked this brand. Not as bitter and not overly sweet. Great price Easy to make, doesn’t take very long in the oven.

Very chocolatey, good basic brownie mix that you can bake as is, or add your own personal touch.

I made brownie bites with this mix using a special brownie bite pan. The tips were nice and crispy and the inside was perfect with a little soft and chewy center. They were delicious. I can’t wait to make more.
