Guests are saying
The recent changes to the cinnamon rolls have left many guests disappointed, as they now resemble biscuits rather than the beloved rolls they once were. While some guests appreciate the ease of preparation and the nostalgic aroma, the lack of cinnamon flavor and the texture have led to a decline in satisfaction. Guests are eager for a return to the original recipe that made these a family favorite for breakfast and special occasions.

Baking soda rolls with cinnamo

It really deserves no stars I'm surprised they allowed a product that taste like that to be sold in grocery stores I wouldn't even wish for them to give it to the people in jail. It all about the money over quality. Stop buying these product's make it your self.

Zero quality control

Over the past couple of years, quality control seems to be a thing of the past. Their cinnamon rolls are no longer cut straight or cut period, making a huge mess and waste of time trying to separate them. The taste is still good but you may as well smash them into a casserole instead of making individual rolls. Its faster and easier to make them frame scratch than to try and separate the rolls that come in the tube.

Bad batch

I’ve always trusted Pilsbury but this batch of grands cinnamon rolls looked bad when I opened them and after baking them they came out flat as pancakes and tasted terrible, I believe they were missed the leavening agents needed to rise appropriately, so so so disappointed in my favorite brand, I’d give this batch a negative 10. I wish I could add my pictures that show 5 hockey picks, so small and flat.

Sad… What did I just eat?

I don’t know what ingredients are in the icing because it doesn’t list them separately from the rolls. And it doesn’t taste like icing. It tastes like a gritty powder; like watery baking powder. Whatever it is, it seems not to be what should be in icing (butter / vanilla/ powdered sugar). So I asked AI and it said it contains all this: powdered sugar, water, palm oil, corn syrup, corn starch, canola oil, salt, mono and diglycerides, artificial colors, polysorbate 60, cinnamon, modified corn starch, potassium sorbate, soy lecithin, natural and artificial flavors, xanthan gum, and citric acid. Oh… that explains it. (Cringe) I can’t belive all that is easier and cheaper…. Sad. Also the cinnamon “side” of the rolls looks like broken plastic topping. As my aunt used to say to say; “Just make it at home, it’s not that hard.”

Disappointing

Tried the cinnamon rolls while on vacation purely for convenience sake but quickly realized that these rolls, while they bake up okay, certainly do NOT resemble or taste like real, honest to goodness cinnamon rolls. There is absolutely NO BUTTER in the 30 ingredients, AND right on the label it tells you that this package contains BIOENGINEERED FOOD INGREDIENTS!!! These lack flavor and rely on the icing to make you think it's a tasty treat. I'll stick to making my own for future travels where I know what I'm eating. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

These are the worst Cinnamon "Rolls" I've ever had. It's like eating a biscuit instead. The texture is completely off now also. Big failure and I will never buy these again. ☹️

Hi there, and so sorry for any confusion! Our Original Cinnamon Rolls are more biscuit-like, and are perfect for smaller hands, to use in recipes and for a quick, on-the-go snack. If you are looking for the larger rolls that can be pulled apart, we recommend trying our Grands! Cinnamon Rolls instead: https://www.pillsbury.com/products/cinnamon-rolls/grands-original-cinnamon-rolls-with-icing

Hated the cinnamon rolls

I will never buy the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls again. Why did they change them? My family has always loved the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls on Saturday morning. We made a special trip to buy some. Could not get them out of tube. Then they did not rise up like they normally do. Totally unhappy and will be looking elsewhere for a good cinnamon roll. We were afraid we were going to be sick from them as they seemed like the wrong ingredients had been added to them. Total disgusting.

First of all, these rolls have ALWAYS needed more icing but it is even worse with the new recipe that is dry and tastes even less of cinnamon. It is a total bust and I guess I'm going to have to learn how to bake my own now. These are NOT worth the money anymore.

Bland biscuits

These are NOT cinnamon rolls anymore. Just a bland cinnamon biscuit with a crackled cinnamon stamp on the top. Don't waste your money. Was so excited to bake these up in the morning, but they were dry, bland, so gross and disappointing if you're expecting a cinnamon roll. Picture is VERY misleading. YUCK 🤮 Do better, Pillsbury.

These are no longer cinnamon “rolls” no matter what your legal team might say. They are cheap biscuits. You thought you could just switch the old rolls out for biscuits and no one would notice? I was excited to eat these this morning only to discover they weren’t the old Pilsbury cinnamon rolls I used to love. Very disappointing but everything else in our country has gone to crap so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that even our beloved Pilsbury cinnamon rolls have as well.

These have been a staple in our home for the last 20 years. My kids grew up on these and we have been so disappointed in the recent changes. We thought it was a fluke and kept buying them hoping it was just a weird batch but I can see from the reviews this is not the case. They are no longer cinnamon rolls. You could unroll the originals, these are simply biscuits. They don’t cook the same, they’re dry and gritty. The quality of everything has gone down while prices have increased and I’m so sad this will be removed from my list of items we still purchase vs making homemade. We will no longer be purchasing unless the quality returns. Undercutting quality to save a buck is a terrible way to do business and I hope the numbers reflect how bad this decision was to make.

These are not cinnamon rolls, they are bread with icing and some cinnamon on them. Cinnamon Rolls are supposed to be unrollable, with cinnamon and sugar between the rolled layers. This is a misrepresentation of the product. This is also a form of false advertising. The standards for a popular product that used to be great., has greatly diminished. This is sad that this company would produce a product like this.
