Started easily after lighting the paper in the marked location. It also didn't have an issue lighting the damp wood we through onto it. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were great for this seasons fires, both at our house and camper. My Dad loves to get the fire going while I clean up dinner. But he isn't the best at it and usually will go through half a bottle of lighter fluid to get it going. These have not only saved me in lighter fluid expense, but maybe some sanity for the environments sake as well. They were easy enough to find in the store and they were really simple to use, even for my Dad. They get the fire going everytime and we always have a great fire.

As someone who makes fires in a fireplace on a nightly basis I was searching for firestarters that would hold a flame for a good amount of time because my wood is not completely dry. These firestarters start up quick and hold a flame for more than enough time to get a roaring fire started. I really enjoyed using this product and I have recommended it to friends and family.

Not only does it light easy without the use of lighter fuel, it is slow burning to catch even the thickest and most difficult woods. I don't think I'll ever start a fire without one of these again.. gone are the days of finding brush to light fires.

It was always a pain to get it going until I brought along the Starterlogg Firstarters. They're easy to use and get the fire going real well.

Sometimes they light right up, other times it takes a bit longer. But they burn well and help me get a good fire going. Overall, pretty good logs that I would recommend to anyone who needs a basic starter log.

During the winter it can sometimes be difficult to get a fire started in our outdoor pit as all of our stored wood is damp from rain and snow. I love having these around! I can toss one in the pit and my other traditional logs around it.... This helps to dry out those logs and in no time I have a raging fire! I keep them on hand at all times!

Having this log to start ans eventually burn the others was great! It was great to have on hand for unfortunate weather!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the StarterLogg! I always have issues trying to get our fireplace started when my wood is too large and I have to chop it into kindling. This product solves the issue entirely and you can break it off into smaller chunks, which enables you to start several fires with one Logg. It gets hot enough that it gets large logs burning without a problem and eliminates the normal headaches of starting a fire without kindling.

My husband and I are big into camping and although we have experience making fires it’s always nice to have a little help. We only needed one to start and the fire lasted all night long. I will definitely be using these again.

These logs were very easy to light and burned for a good amount of time. I was a little worried about a chemical smell and taste, but I did not find that to be the case. They burned long enough to light the rest of the wood on fire and that allowed the fire to stay hot.
