Pirke Avot, or "Chapters of the Fathers," is one of the most unique and cherished works in the rabbinic tradition. About the Author

Isaac Abravanel or Abarbanel was a Jewish theologian, biblical commentator, and businessman who served the kings of Portugal, Castile, and Naples, as well as the Republic of Venice. He was the father of the well-known philosopher Leon the Hebrew.
