Pit Boss Table Top Wood Pellet Grill 10697 Brown: Portable, Electric Smoker, 256 sq in Surface

I bought this thing three months ago. Every time we go to use it the auger don’t work.which it every weekend this summer.So I have to take it apart and try to fix it..I’m just about to throw it away..

This is my first smoker and I have to say I'm so impressed with how easy it is to use. I've already made my first rack of ribs and everyone raved how delicious it was. Looking forward to many more meals prepared on it. I bought this one specifically for travelling since we like to go camping in the RV. Small enough to easily pack along and light enough for me to take in and out for use.

Portable pellet smoker worked great except for the pellets not feeding out of hopper at end of cooking. Juciest pork loin ever. It doesn't come with meat probe. Was easy to set up and use.

Auger is not working. Just bought this this evening and it's not working.

So far so good works perfectly in the back of the truck

I’m new to smoking! My kids have the identical smoker and I loved the food they cooked on it. I am still playing around with time, temp etc. it would be nice if it was a tad but bigger cooking height, limited to size of birds i can put on it. Other than that ?

This product really ruins the (supposed) good reputation of Pit Boss. It is a failure. The SECOND time I turned it on the auger stopped moving and will not feed the pellets into the fire. It is not jammed, because it is only the SECOND time I used it. I called customer service and they told me I had to take it apart and then they would send a replacement part. I asked how I would know how to take it apart and they said they didn’t have time to tell me, I needed to search for a YouTube video (that does not exist for this model). So they have a replacement part warranty but you need to dissect the machine yourself and have all the tools to work inside this little grill, when clearly it was not designed correctly and broke down. Other reviewers also say the auger is a problem. And ALSO it does not tell you in the description, but I learned after buying it, every time you cook with this thing (even though I never was able to) you have to VACUUM out the ash from the pellets with a shop vac!!! So make sure to have a shop vac on your deck. Seriously, I thought this was going to be a really valuable new grill and instead I completely lost my money and never even ate a single thing off of it. Shame on you Pit Boss. Maybe they make better “large pellet grills” but this tabletop model is garbage and they shouldn’t be selling it! I want my $200 back.

We had a full size 700 FB pit Boss pellet grill for 3 years and loved it. We cooked on it three to four times per week with no trouble. We used a digital thermometer so that we could set the grill and forget it until the alarm went off for turning or removing the meat at predetermined temperatures. Upon selling our home in the summer of 2023 and moving into our motorhome, we purchased this portable sized PB150PPG pit Boss table top grill. It provides the same delicious smoky flavor as the full size, but it requires constant attention. Apparently, they made the pellet feed or tube smaller but still use the same sized pellets, so the pellets get stuck in the tube causing the fire to die, if I am not right there too jab the pellets and break them up every 5 to 10 minutes, which is a real pain, and interferes with talking to guests or doing anything else.

Great smoker, wish it had handles to carry though otherwise I'd give it 5 stars

My grill is great. Nephew had one and I cooked off it and so I had to purchase me one. Love it!!

I bought this for camping trips and couldn't be happier with my purchase. This being a travel sized smoker you will be limited with what you can put on it but I pushed it to the limits with a large packer brisket and it came out perfect!

Cute little unit. Perfect for camping, and hunting. Do need power (120v) so if your dry camping you'll need to run the generator or have a solar system that can feed the wattage.

works great so far. have cooked ribs and smoked a chuck roast..very happy so far

We have had our pellet grill for 2 weeks exactly - we used it 3 times the first week and it was GREAT! Just went to use it again this week and the auger was jammed - after a few YouTube searches (reading the comments helped immensely for tips and tricks others found), we got it unjammed and we thought we were back in business. Not 10 minutes later - jammed again. Took it apart AGAIN and cleaned it all out, got it going. Got it up to temp, threw my meat on - go check it 15 minutes later and the temp is down and the auger is jammed again. VERY frustrated right now with this.

love it so far. learning how to use it still, super easy though so far. lots of good recipes
