I really love this mist - the smell is amazing and I like that it gives me a good base for which to start off my skincare routine at night or my makeup in the morning. My skin feels plump, hydrated and clean. I don't think it's good to use on top of makeup, because I feel like it sort of starts to break down the makeup if you put too much but I don't think it's made for that purpose anyway. The only reason it's not getting the 5th star from me is because the spray nozzle is not the best. After a while, it gets really clogged and starts spraying unevenly with huge droplets. I've tried using a toothpick to dislodge any buildup, but it still doesn't work quite as well. I didn't have this problem with the very first mist I bought, so I'm not sure what changed.
Sure you can switch bottles, but that would be buying a whole separate product since I don't have one on hand myself. The $15 should cover a good product in whole meaning the mist itself and the spray nozzle. For this reason, I have hesitated to buy it again. I will be trying out other hydrating mists in the meanwhile.
I’m on my third bottle of this stuff (I just bought the large size) great hydrating mist for use before or even after makeup and very handy during air travel when skin tends to dry up. I also use it after cleansing at night Both on its own or just before applying moisturizer. Can’t do without this mist now. Absolutely love it!
I had walked by the Pixi display many times at Target and other various stores, but never really peeked at or thought twice about it, I just had so many other brands that I counted on more. But when one of my favorite youtubers Tati Westbrook raved about the Milky Mist, I knew I had to try it. Being a skeptical person by nature, I thought I would give it a fair shot, but figured what can a facial mist really do for me? Well the answer is, a lot more than I thought! I am in my 40s, and my skin is gradually getting drier as I get older, so now I have combination skin that gets pretty dry and dehydrated during the winter months. I spritzed this on a few times during the day and right before bed under a moisturizer, and I’m telling you my skin has never looked this good in the winter! Nice moisture and hydration, not greasy or oily. And the fragrance is light~ I thought it would bug me at first, but I have since gotten used to it, it wears off pretty quickly as well. I am so hooked that I came back and purchased the larger size bottles during Cyber Monday with the discount!! Haha So glad I did that because I think I’ve found a new staple in my routine :)
Out of all of the mists I’ve trier-THIS ONE IS THE BEST. I have tried the glow mist & the vitamin wake up toning mist. I used the glow mist for around 7 months and it didn’t give me any bad side effects, it gave me some hydration and a nice gooey complexion but since it contains olive oil I wanted to try something different since olive, castor & coconut oil can clog your pores. This stuff is great! I get some good hydration, less acne & blackheads and no bad side effects. I use it before & after makeup, anytime I need some hydration. It does NOT contain olive or coconut oil which is amazing. It does contain hydrogenated castor oil but I am honestly not sure if that would clog pores. If you are wanting to try one though I definitely suggest this one! I am wanting to try other ones as long as they contain good ingredients. I really wish they would make one that has Argan oil or hyaluronic acid though because those 2 ingredients are amazing & moisturizing for your skin!
Really lovely, lightweight yet hydrating! Think I'm on my fifth bottle of this stuff. Great as skincare or over the top of makeup. Love this product all year long. Winter to hydrate, summer to cool me down!
Ok, I will admit. When I first considered getting this product, I definitely thought it would be bigger, especially considering Pixi is a drugstore brand and this was $15. I am young as well, so this product was one of my first ever skincare products. But, alas, this product is AMAZING. My face feels so soft, and I love the smell, too! I love this product.
