Thin but serves the purpose for my food compost bag. Can't find any other CLEAR 4 gallon for my compost trash can. (For nyc compost I need clear bags).

Wrong is useless.
Bags feel like film & have peculiar 4-sided pleated bottoms. Got for recycling 17 oz plastic bottles but only holds 7 or 8. Bought as test along with GLAD "4 gallon bags" for garbage. These are supposed to also be 4 gallon but have 1/3 to 1/4 the capacity. Expected them to be thin & not as strong but thought 4 gallon sizes would be similar.

I'm 100% pleased with these bags. They are the perfect size for my bathroom & sewing area as well as computer desk. Nice to keep some in the bottom of each & switch to a fresh bag when needed. Pleased with thickness & value.
