Q: What is the thickness of the bags? The specifications only say .0 inches thick. I think it's usually measured in MIL (from looking it up I guess that means one-thousandth of an inch).

    How is this product getting good reviews?

    As soon as you open the box, the roll is essentially glued shut so when you pull off the first bag, it completely rips. On top of that, the bags aren’t easy to open. I don’t know if it’s static electricity or what but these bags are also incredibly difficult to get open. You can’t just shake them out, you have to physically separate the inside of the bag. Don’t cheap out, get Hefty!!

    Massive Quality & Durability Decline, Buyers Beware

    These used to be my go to store brand trash bags, but the last batch I purchased in Dec 2025 have been awful. They tear much easier than they used to and the red drawstring breaks off half the time. I no longer trust the Up & Up brand, these are low quality, cheap bags that do not hold anywhere near the advertised capacity.

    Literal Garbage

    Everything always gets worse - including these trash bags. We’ve been buying these bags for many years and they used to be great. Recently, the quality has massively gone down hill. They rip easily and the drawstrings break 9/10 times. Costs consistently go up but quality is always worse. Anything to keep those shareholders happy!
