Massive Quality & Durability Decline, Buyers Beware
These used to be my go to store brand trash bags, but the last batch I purchased in Dec 2025 have been awful. They tear much easier than they used to and the red drawstring breaks off half the time. I no longer trust the Up & Up brand, these are low quality, cheap bags that do not hold anywhere near the advertised capacity.

Literal Garbage
Everything always gets worse - including these trash bags. We’ve been buying these bags for many years and they used to be great. Recently, the quality has massively gone down hill. They rip easily and the drawstrings break 9/10 times. Costs consistently go up but quality is always worse. Anything to keep those shareholders happy!

Rips constantly! Do not buy
I have purchased these bags before and felt they worked great at a cheaper price point. The quality must have been changed as this most recent box I have EVERY BAG has ripped with use. I am not exaggerating here. As soon as I go to lift the bag from the can, the bag gets large holes in it or the area where the ties are start to completely separate from the rest of the bag. I've had to double bag a bag to put with my garbage pick-up as I hated to think of it ripping for our trash service. After having a bag rip again tonight with barely anything in it, I knew a review needed to be left. Don't recommend these at all!
