Q: Are these unscented? I hope so

submitted by C - 2 years ago

  • A: These bags have an extremely strong perfume odor!

submitted byKatlyn - 11 months ago

  • A: Hi Evie E, thank you for your inquiry. While our Hefty Strong Multipurpose Large Drawstring Trash Bags do not have any perfume added. To maintain odor-free processing, our manufacturing facility routinely checks finished products, but the product sometimes absorbs odors before it reaches you. The source of this problem can be difficult to identify, but under certain conditions, paper/plastic products can absorb odor from a warehouse or other surroundings during storage. For this reason, they should not be stored with perfumed items such as dryer sheets, laundry detergents, etc. Hope you found this useful!

Q: Are they unsented ?

submitted by steven - 17 days ago

  • A: Great Question Steven- These bags are considered unscented because no fragrances, perfumes, or masking scents are added to the product during production. While a slight odor may be noticed when first opening the package, this can result from the manufacturing process rather than any added fragrance. Thank you!

Q: Is this trash bag deep enough to put stuff in it

submitted by Shantelle - 3 months ago

  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. Our Hefty Strong Multipurpose bags can hold a variety of items. However, these bags are designed to temporarily hold waste before disposal rather than for long-term storage. For long-term storage of belongings, we recommend using products specifically designed for storage and organization. If you still have questions, please contact us at 1-800-433-2244 or submit a Contact Us form on our website.

Guests are saying

These trash bags are designed for heavy-duty use, offering a large capacity and strong construction that many guests appreciate. However, there are concerns regarding a strong scent that some guests found unpleasant, despite the bags being marketed as unscented. The drawstring feature is praised for convenience, but issues with tearing and quality have been noted. Overall, they serve well for various household tasks, but guests sensitive to scents may want to consider alternatives.

These bags would be ok if you could get the blue handles free of the bag to tie them up when the bag is full. One side is always hard to grab and pull out. It drives us crazy!!! Please make the ties easier to get out.

I do like the strength of these bags! However, I explicitly looked for a bag that was unscented and was greatly disappointed when I opened the box. The scent was overpoweringly disgusting! I wouldn't dare bring this bag into my kitchen or use it to store anything! Good for outside garbage only.

Described as unscented but have a very strong scent.

I am allergic to scents so I purposely chose these trash bags because in the highlights they are described as “unscented.” They have a very strong scent and I cannot use them.

    Has Fragrance

These are not labeled as “fragranced” but they are! I had to throw them out and wasted money. Why is it not labeled??? It’s not an overpowering scent but if you are sensitive like me then it is still too much!
