There’s nothing hefty about these bags, specifically the handles. They’re incredibly stretchy and they break easily. Go with the off brand. These are not made how they used to.

In no way did I ever expect lawn and leaf bags to have a scent, much less a foul odor. I checked the label prior to purchasing and saw nothing, so I purchased. After using them and getting several complaints, I checked the label more thoroughly and at the very bottom of the box, in the smallest text is: "May contain a light scent" False advertising, at best. Either it is scented or it is not, there is no in-between.

Idk why these have a fragrance to begin with but they should be labeled as such. Buyer beware 🤢 Planned to return but an opportunity to donate them to a good cause came up 🙌🏼 and I was glad to be rid of the cursed smell!

I totally agree about the fragrance! I have chemical sensitivities and the scent is very strong, awful. Too bad because I think otherwise these are the best garbage bags.

This product is normally really nice and would normally receive 5 stars instead, but the most recent two boxes have been horrible. The bags in the current box weren't constructed very well. The plastic bag doesn't seal around the blue draw string making the draw string useless. I can't close the bag to take it out to the dumpster outside. The box before that was scented with this awful stench. The bags really stunk. I was glad when those got used up so I didn't have to smell them anymore, but now I'm stuck with these bags that are falling apart. Hefty needs to bring back a proper level of quality to their production.

I've been purchasing this product for years and the last box I purchased has a very strong perfume smell. When I took a bag out in my apt., the entire apt smelled.

Target is the only place I can find these and love it when they are on sale! Always arrives in time and in good shape.

These are definitely scented, despite the description of "unscented" so I couldn't have them anywhere near and certainly not in my house.

These are perfect for lining our large cat litter box. The super wide opening is perfect for this purpose.

Trash bags are good but they smell like cigarette smoke. Now my whole house smells like cigarettes. Disgusting!

I need larger bags for my big trash cans. Also strong ones. These are great, and the drawstring closure makes them perfect.
