Overwhelming chemical stench!
I ordered these online along with a bunch of other household necessities, and I could literally smell them before I opened the large Target box. I’m not getting “mint” at all—just a super strong chemical smell that has now permeated everything that shipped with it. I am literally airing out all other items in the hope that I didn’t waste money on kitchen products like parchment paper and freezer bags simply because they shipped with these bags. Suggestion: either have your shippers double bag and zip tie these or package them in a separate box. And, apartment dwellers, you may want to steer clear of these or have an airtight container to store them in. I can’t speak to the efficacy yet, but I probably won’t be buying them again even if they succeed in repelling my neighborhood critters.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Strong bags with a fresh scent, just don’t overload them
We’ve been using these Up & Up extra-strong rodent repellent trash bags in our garage and outdoor cans, and overall they’ve been a good option. The bags themselves are thick and feel durable, and the mint scent is noticeable but not overwhelming once the bag is in the can. It definitely smells cleaner than regular trash bags. They fit our 30-gallon cans well and the drawstring makes them easy to tie and carry. One thing to note is that the drawstring has torn away from the bag for me when I overfilled it and made it too heavy. As long as I don’t overload them, they hold up fine. These work well for everyday garage or outdoor trash and I’d buy them again— just with a bit more awareness of weight.
