I had my doubts about ordering a substitute for the SimpleHuman bags, which are incredibly reliable. I was pleasantly surprised to find these substitutes to be well made and sized perfectly to fit the trash can. The plastic seems not quite as thick at the SimpleHuman bag, which is the only reason I gave this product a "very good" quality rating. Notably, though, I have had no leaks or tears so far. The drawstring works well.

They are a bit snug but fit my simple human trash can at a fraction of the price. I fold a few up and put them in the pocket since they don’t come in the individual pouches. Correct alternative

They are fine, if thin. The official bags are thicker plastic and don’t tear as easily as these. They take some getting used to compared to the official SimpleHuman brand bags, for example being careful to underload them (definitely don’t overload them) so you can actually pull the bag from your can without the pull strings coming off in your hand and spilling trash everywhere.

You can have several trash cans that would be considered 12 gallons but all have different measurements.
