A: Hello and thank you for your question. The cylinder package is cardboard with a round plastic lid. This contains 6 Play-Doh cans inside which will keep the Play-Doh soft. We advise to please store the Play-Doh into the individual cans to keep it soft.

Cute little set missing a part of the set though
Cute little set, my two year old enjoys playing with them. The size of the play piecesand Play-Doh cannisters are small but suitable for 2yr old sized hands however. Unfortunately our set was missing one of the pieces (missing the knife) so I just found a Tupperware knife from our kitchen draw him to use instead. So FYI for any parents buying to make sure that all your parts are there.

Can is cardboard!
Not a metal tin canister, so quite overpriced for a few mini things of dough and a bunch of plastic shapes. The clear bag set has more tools-I’d have gone that route if I realized this was pretty overpriced for cardboard etc.

Tiny and cheaply made
This is not the Play-Doh canister from the 80s. The pieces are miniature, and cheaply made. The cookie cutters have backs on them, so the play-doh gets stuck in them. The moving pieces came apart the first time my kids played with it. I tried it myself, and it only works with the tiniest piece of play-doh and still comes apart easily, not at all like the set I played with in the 80s that lasted for years even with four kids playing with it.

Awesome play-doh set at a great value! I feel like this set includes a lot of fun pieces and a variety of play-doh colors. Both my (almost) 2-year-old and my 5-year-old have had fun with this set and have gone back to play it many times. They frequently fight over the pieces. It’s definitely a favorite in our house.

Poor quality
The tools don’t work. They break apart any time you squeeze Playdoh in them. The jars of Playdoh are very small, which is fine if that’s what you are expecting. The shape cutters are fine, but are just simple cookie cutters. I didn’t get anything useful out of this kit that I didn’t already have. I was really excited to get the fun factory because our old one broke recently. The one in this kit is like an inch long and breaks any time you try to use it.
