We store a good part of our firewood on a cart on the front porch, then take this carrier to the cart to load up & bring inside. We like that a nice amount of firewood can be stored indoors right in the carrier. The carrier stands on its own, but the heavy duty metal stand helps keep it neat. Be aware that the curved part of the metal frame where the carrier straps go make the overall width wider than you may have planned for. It is more like 18 1/2" wide at the top, not 17 1/2", so if you have a fixed amount of space where it's going, double check!

The carrier is very nice looking and is heavy duty. The handles and seems are well stitched. The stand is heavy and sturdy which is great.

The canvas bag is nicely constructed but is too shallow and the handles are too long. The bag doesn't have the capacity to hold enough logs to last one evening. The steel stand is adequate for its purpose.

It is a nice piece, but the finish isn't great. Had white stains on the stand that appear to be from some kind of adhesive or chemical from the factory. I tried to clean it to remove it but was unsuccessful. I was afraid to scrub to hard and remove the finish. The stand sits lower than in the photograph so the leather handles of the bag are not taught as pictured. Disappointed. For $160+ delivered, I suppose I expected something much nicer.
I often purchase from this company and will keep going back.

The holes did not line up on the metal carrier and could not be used. Unfortunately, my husband threw away the box and I could not return it-turned out to be an expensive canvas bag!!
