Pokémon Trading Card Game: Holiday Advent Calendar

There are multiple pieces missing from the box which was very upsetting to my son.

Perfect for my Pokémon loving daughter!

After reading others reviews, I had to write my own. My son has thousands of Pokémon cards already at age 9, but still LOVED every second of this. For him, it was not about pulling the absolute best cards ever out of the calendar. Of course, he wants to get awesome cards but it’s like the lottery with Pokémon cards- you play to win but you don’t usually win anything. It’s a surprise if you end up getting an awesome card! And that’s fun. Pouting over not getting the cards you want is somewhat ridiculous if you are used to buying Pokémon cards cause you often don’t get amazing cards, even when you buy a ton of packs. My son just loved the surprise of it. He actually wants it again this coming Christmas and I mentioned it might be just like the last one. He doesn’t care. That’s a true Pokémon fan! He used the stickers on things in his room, put the keychain on his backpack and loved every card good or not so good. I thought this was the coolest advent calendar he could’ve got anyway cause it’s what he’s into. What’s the alternative, the chocolate ones? If you want serious pulls then go buy sets of cards not advent calendars.

I pulled the Moonbreon in the Evolving Skies pack from this box. Finally pulled it after opening so many packs from other places. Fun box to open.

Received a lot of great cards. The kids actually loved it. For the value, I wish I bought more at the time. Really for any age if into Pokemon.

Mine was completely empty. Tabs were intact but was empty. Empty. Did I mention that it was empty?

If your kid likes Pokémon this advent calendar is great! He got so many cards out of it!

I knew I had to buy this the moment I saw it. I'm so glad I stumbled across it. Overall the contents were pretty nice. Some of it was kinda meh but I feel there were a very good amount of card packs in there to make up for the sticker sheets and keychains. However, the individual cards that were placed in there always came out slightly curved because of the way it was packaged. That was really the only downside. This was super fun to open up every night. Definitely a great item for pokemon card lovers.

I always worry when I buy these things that they will not have anything great but this was a pleasant surprise. My daughter loved it! There were cute key chains, she got a rainbow card and some other shiny cool ones. If you can get this for next year stash it away 😀

Loved opening this with my little one. Such a variety and even got some good hits on the packs!!

great item for Christmas

This box literally had not one good card. Not worth the price. Mostly has like dollar store packs of only 3 cards, that are garbage.

This is a great idea for kids! I will say, we didn’t get many “great” cards and some were bent from being in the box. So if you’re looking to get this and it’s for someone who collects or is looking to score rare cards, this is NOT the product for you.

My son was so excited about this. We are only on day 3, but it was missing. He was so upset. Not worth the heartache. He loved the first 2 days though.

i wish the promos were cooler, maybe like full arts, but all were basic holos other than the vmax. packs were modern, but still got really good pulls. i had nothing missing, but day 18 was wobbling around. if packaging was more organized it would make this product so much better.

We purchased one for each of our sons (7 & 9) who love collecting Pokémon cards. This might be good for a kid who is just starting their collection, but for the price - you would be better off just buying packs and doing your own advent. Some of the days are only one single card. So far they haven't been excited about opening any of the days. Also, the advent box itself is pretty cheaply made, some of the days fell to the bottom and we have had to open the box several times to find the items. Not worth the price at all.

Great my son loved it. He got more v’s and v Max than it said in the box so he was very happy. Didn’t have the same issues as the rest of the people who reviewed. It had a gift for everyday. He looks forward to everyday
