@momma.midwest h o l a! 💬 let’s talk about bilingualism! I knew I wanted to raise my child bilingual since day 1, for me it’s very important to introduce Franchesca to my native language (Spanish) being this little! The babies brain is amazing and it’s never to late or to early to introduce another language. As an early child spanish educator I knew that the earlier I introduce her to Spanish the better, but I also wanted to introduce her in a fun and appropriate way for her age! Would you believe me if I told you that you don’t need to speak Spanish as a second language to teach your child! Sounds crazy but it’s true!! 🙌🏻 Here are 3 of our favorite bilingual books! Each book will teach her something different. •A color of his own: Colors & animal names •Polar bear, Polar bear what do you hear: Animals sounds & different animals •The hungry caterpillar: Fruits, numbers/ counting shapes. ⏭ take a look at the last picture, I added a few websites that offer FREE children’s books in a variety of languages!! Description

About the Book

The sense of hearing is explored through simple rhymes and colorful illustrations in this beloved classic. (Baby/Preschool)

Book Synopsis

What will you hear when you read this book to a preschool child?

Lots of noise!

Children will chant the rhythmic words. They'll make the sounds the animals make. And they'll pretend to be the zoo animals featured in the book-- look at the last page!

Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle are two of the most respected names in children's education and children's illustrations. This collaboration, their first since the classic Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? (published more than thirty years ago and still a best-seller) shows two masters at their best.

A Redbook Children's Picture Book Award winner

The rollicking companion to Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

Review Quotes
