Polly Pocket Sparkle Cove Adventure Unicorn Floatie Compact Playset

Daughter got this for christmas & I dont think she's touched it since - its just been sitting on a shelf, looks cute & is somewhat reminiscent of my childhood polly pocket sets - but didnt hold her attention.

My daughter (7yo) recently got this PP and she loves it. My son (9yo) played a little with it also. I remember these from when I was little. I ordered online through Target, and it was half the price of any other stores, and it wasn't on sale! Score!

No matter how careful the kids are they leak through the bottom. Still great. Well made but small parts are hard to get in their places.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How fun. Compact and easy to take with in a backpack or car or anywhere. Lots if little nooks and crannies to create imitation for the younger generation playing with the toy. And who doesn't like a donut shape?

She has shown interest in each of the accessory items and will ask to play with this over some of her other toys (she has to ask, since I help her with the water part until I know she can do it on her own). This is such a great toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play set is adorable and my unicorn loving daughter was thrilled to get this as a gift. As expected, this Polly Pocket compact has lots of cute accessories to play with and entertain my little girl. My daughter was most excited about the two color changing unicorn themed inner tubes/floaties. I personally was underwhelmed with the subtle color change feature but my daughter was thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed this part of the toy. Her favorite thing to do the day she received this was to set up two separate “pools” (one warm/hot water and one cold) and change them over and over again. My daughter wanted to add water inside of the compact for play but I was concerned about the toy drying completely and worried about mold so we stuck to water play in an adjacent bowl (or bowls) instead. Unlike other sets that we own, we were not able to easily store all of the extra pieces for this set inside and get it to clasp shut. We finally realized that the water pitcher is meant to be attached to the carrying cord for storage and not inside of the compact, but even then, the compact is a challenge to close securely with the remaining accessory pieces stowed inside. This is a drawback as it's one of our favorite features of Polly Pocket sets because it means easy cleanup and storage, less lost parts, and easy to travel with. This is a fun addition for any Polly Pocket loving girl especially for the summer time but not my favorite since it has some storage challenges.

We did enjoy the color changing items, but it doesn’t make much sense because the whole toy is not a water play toy. The characters are cute. We like the water slide feature.

Has several tiny parts what were hard for us to pic up and put into place. Then when ypu are done playing all of the parts did not fit into the case very well and when opening it up to play the pieces fell out everywhere.

We love that the handle for the water pitcher fits on the “bracelet loop” and the fact that the packaging showed which part of the base was designed to have water in it. The best surprise of all- the flamingo head turns so that it is shaped just like a flamingo pool tube!!

The inside has lots of cute details that fit the unicorn theme very well. Inside it has a swing, seats in the clouds and a shooting star that moves, a cute little “river” area where the characters can float along in the adorable color changing unicorn floats that came with this set. It also has a slide and a deck area that can be folded out to use. It came with two very cute characters and other accessories like lounge chairs for them to sit. My girls love this set, it’s a great addition to their collection.

At first glance it looks like a donut, but it is a pool floatie. Included are two dolls, they are the tiny sized Polly Pocket dolls. There are a couple floaties for the dolls, along with a unicorn and clam shell with a pearl inside. A slide folds down for the dolls to speed down, and also fold up for easy storage. So many fun tiny things are inside the playset that allow for lots of imaginative play! Water can be added to the base of the floatie to make items float too. You will enjoy summertime play fun all year long with this set! I do recommend Polly Pocket Sparkle Cove Adventure Unicorn Floatie Compact Playset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It color changes!! How adorable is this polly pocket!? It is a unicorn donut shape but has a tiny star waterfall waterslide inside.. had a cute little oyster and pearl accessory for cave diving treasure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you first open this set , it has a lot of tiny pieces for a Polly pocket. The colors are very vibrant and it is a little pool set where you can actually add water for the dolls to lounge around in their pool floaties. It does come with a little unicorn figure and two little Polly pockets. There's also many accessories with it for the pool including chairs, floaties, the dolls and unicorn and many more. The scenes inside are very bright and eye catching. This kept my daughter's attention for a while. I didn't think it was easy to close up with everything inside. It was a bit difficult and I had to help her get everything set in there to make it shut and stay shut. It is a cute little set and will make for some good playtime for my daughter.

The accessory pieces are super small and will likely be easily lost. As an FYI, the pieces are all in a paper bag below the main toy in the cardboard packaging. At first I almost threw them out accidentally. My child played with this initially but after a bit, did begin to lose interest. I think this would make a good travel toy due to compact size and novelty wouldn’t wear off that way.

There are lots of interactive parts including a water slide, a swinging chair, a "star ride", and beach lounge chairs. It comes with two people that have hard plastic bodies and rubber hair. My daughter liked how the people were easy to get to stand. Throughout the toy, there are little plastic bumps that the accessories or the people can snap onto. This is a nice feature making the toy easier to play with while in a vehicle. Overall, this toy kept my daughters attention for a good amount of time. She enjoyed the many accessories it included and how you can add water to this toy.

There wasn't enough room for her to be creative and use her imagination.
