PopSocket
Providing a three star review as all the pop sockets were taken off the shelf today when I visited the store. The electronics clerk said they were discontinuing sales of popsockets and mainly only carrying iPhone merchandise and accessories. Found this on Target.com and available for in-store pick up. There were four remaining so hopefully they'll come through for me with this purchase. Thanks.

Premium enamel button
The metal button has a quality feel superior to plastic! With the ability to swap designs with the quick release it fits the magasafe base and the popgrip slide stretch. I just wish there were more designs available with the premium button.

This went into the trash. It is not at all useful. I was unable to charge my phone on a stand with this attached because it is not a suction. Terrible product.

I’m not sure what changed with pop sockets but the quality is terrible. I had one I purchased from target that stayed in place for over 3 years (I only had to replace it since I bought a new phone). When I got a new phone, I purchased the same case I always do and another pop socket (this time off Amazon). Pop socket after pop socket kept falling off, I thought it must be a fraud so I trusted target to carry the “real” pop socket I had always used and loved. Turns out, it wasn’t a fraud. Pop socket must have changed their glue and they no longer actually stick to the case or really the phone at all. They used to provide a “prep kit” to prepare the surface with an alcohol wipe and a tacky substance to stick the pop socket. The new packaging has significantly reduced with only a pop socket and one that doesn’t even work. Save your money, this isn’t what it used to be.

We have different PopGrips - some are cheaper and some are more expensive and sturdy. Please note: PopSockets bases are engineered to be super sticky and most compatible with smooth, flat surfaces. PopSockets bases will not stick as well to silicone, highly textured, as many soft cases on the market. They also will not adhere as well to iPhone 11 and up models or the Samsung Z3 flip phone models without a suitable case. Not recommended to stick to leather or fabric/textile cases. Our super sticky gel may damage leather cases when trying to reposition or remove the base. The gel does not stick "as well" with naked iPhones. While it does stick adequately to a naked base model (and sometimes to Pro/Pro Max depending on circumstances), it will not stick "as well" as if you used a suitable case. Not Sticking: If your PopSockets product is no longer sticking, follow the steps below to reactivate the adhesive gel on your PopSockets product: Step 1: Give your PopSockets gel a quick rinse. Step 2: Let it air dry for 10 minutes. Do not leave it out any longer, this will cause the adhesive gel to dry out entirely. Step 3: Stick your PopSockets product back onto your phone, and let it sit for a few hours before engaging it again. This will ensure a stronghold. If the above does not apply, then that should not happen and the base might be defective. Please return it to Target or contact us at cs@popsockets.com. We'll be happy to assist.

Worked OK for a few days, but then the adhesive failed, and the PopSocket fell off my phone, dropping the phone to the ground. I heard they recently changed the adhesive formula, so maybe that's it? Anyway, I like the comfort of the grip being soft, but with an unreliable adhesive, I can't recommend this since attaching the grip to the phone is the #1 most important priority for this to even be usable. I tried switching to another ring grip brand, and its adhesive is already lasting longer (over a week now). I'd suggest to PopSocket to put more resources into a reliable adhesive.

Can't live without a popsocket
I've been using these for years and this was just a replacement. But, color in picture is exactly how it is in person. I got a new phone and its bigger than my old, this really helps me hold my phone in a more comfortable way. Works great. Would recommend any popsocket.

Accept no substitute...
Brilliant invention and design! The PopSocket is one of those things you never knew you needed until you have one. It makes holding your phone much easier especially when taking photos or video. The adhesive is super strong but does not leave any residue if you remove it. Love the textured feel and the sleek design.
