I found this lamp to be very functional in my bedroom. great buy!

Sophisticated look and very good quality. With two bulbs (I'm using 40 watt bulbs), it fully lights the whole room. I use the gooseneck for the keyboard of my laptop and it provides a lot of light. The only problem is that the bulb in the gooseneck is too glaring and bright and I cover it with fabric with a print design to soften it.

Best of both worlds here. This handsome lamp rests on a slim table behind my sofa. The double bulb light is perfect for day to night illumination, with the added strong, precise center light for reading . I love the brass finish and custom shade. The weight is substantial, good news as this home has 2 active cats, ; 1 is graceful, but the other is large and clutzy, not great for fragile lamps.

it is a very well made lamp. classical style. the reading light is fine. just remember it is on the bedside table and not above you, as a regular reading light. Lamps are not cheap and this lamp is not cheaply made. i am happy with the purchase

Love the lamp! Structure is pretty sturdy and color is great with our design. Use it for nightstand, and spot light is bright and great for reading.

I bought this lamp to put on a table next to our sofa in the family room where we have young grandchildren playing. I wanted a metal lamp, not ceramic or glass to have something less breakable. I also needed a lamp that could be used for reading books for myself and the kids. Sometimes when our son visits he sits on the couch and uses his laptop computer so the USB port and power plug on the lamp are a huge bonus. This lamp is solid and beautiful. The shade is high quality and the dual 60 watt LED bulbs that I put in there give a lovely glow to the room. I am thinking of buying another one and adding it to a bedroom. The bulb that is included with the purchase for the gooseneck is bright. and is great for reading. We have a large table behind our sofa where my husband does 1000 piece puzzles. He is planning to lift the lamp to the puzzle table and use the gooseneck light for his puzzles. I already own Possini floor lamps and I was glad to find a table lamp by Possini. I'm glad I found this.

Very happy with this lamp but could have done without gooseneck attachment which I never use.

These lamps meet our requirements perfectly. They fit our necessarily narrow night stands, are tall enough to look perfect on each side of our king size bed, provide individual reading lights that do not disturb the non-reader, have USB ports to eliminate cords, and provide classic beauty.

I was a little hesitant to place an order with a company with which I was not familiar but was completely happy with the lamp. Also, it was received a good deal sooner than expected.

The photo of the brass version of this lamp shows the shade as being “oatmeal” color. What I got was much darker bordering on light brown. The combo of the brass and brown is not a good look. I am sending this one back.
