Had two pole lamps - too much clutter. This is much better- the bulbs are mini flood lights- so you have to position correctly. But perfect for our back porch reading.

Purchased this a few weeks ago and every time I turn this lamp on, I tell myself how wonderful it is. Very substantial, beautiful looking, and swivels and adjusts to almost any position. Very bright, light does not get hot, and bulb can be replaced. The bulbs on many other expensive desk lamps are not replaceable. There is a switch for each lamp head so they can be turned on and off individually. Minor assembly but I didn't even have to read the instructions to put it together. I'm using it on a two sided desk that I share with my husband and he loves it too. Perfect in every way.

I had been looking all over for a lamp that both my husband and I could enjoy. This is it. We like the extensioins, position of turning each one on while the other is off. I love the cell charger attached to the back. I use every night. This lamp also has charm and good looks. Very attractive. It sits between us on a center table.
