Q: Is the gold/brass finish a brushed, matt, or more of a shiny finish? Also is it more of a gold color as in jewelry or more antique gold?

A: Hi - the brass finish on this lamp has a slight brushed look to it. The color tone we would say is more of a jewelry gold as you describe, but remember that brass and gold metals will pick up other room colors and color tones, so the final look you see may depend somewhat on your room. The lamp was pretty but the shade was tricky to stabilize and kept wobbling. It's not my favorite product I've ever purchased.

We love the look and having the switch on the base and is convenient. Also being able to adjust the switch to however much light you want is nice.

Exactly as it looks
This lamp is exactly as described. Looks perfect with my decor! My only negative is that the dimmer could be more responsive. Might be the bulbs included with the lamp that don't allow a lot of dimming. Starting point is still pretty bright.

Hi - thank you for the feedback. If the highest level of the bulb is too bright for you, you might want to switch to a bulb with lower lumens to get the look you are after.

Gorgeous lamp!!! It is in my livingroom. I get compliments all the time
