When applied as label directed, it will help to prevent crabgrass seeds from germinating, plus, it will help to kill young crabgrass plants (up to approximately 4 weeks old, and less than 2" in diameter), and, it will help to kill only the listed broadleaf weeds that are present at application time (it does not prevent new broadleaf weeds from appearing), when that are young/actively growing. Plus, it feeds your lawn for up to 2 - 3 months. Apply to a non-stressed qualifying and established lawn in mid-to-late late spring when there is constant warm soil temperatures, when as many as the listed broadleaf weeds are visible and young/actively growing (a reminder that this product does not prevent new ones from coming up). No mowing 3 days prior to application and no mowing 3 days after application. Apply to a wet lawn (ie: morning dew) that also has good warm soil moisture, and, no rain and/or water for at least 24 - 48 (preferably 48 hours) hours after application; at which time a thorough rain and/or watering should occur. Application of Preen One Lawncare should be done uniformly as label directed to non-stressed (ie: no high temperatures or humidity, no drought, no insect or disease damage, etc.). Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, Preen One Lawncare will help to control the creeping charlie and you can do a second application in 6 weeks. This product is to be applied when your broadleaf weeds are up and actively growing to a wet/moist lawn followed by no rain or watering for 24-48 hours. After that time period a rain or watering should occur. It is recommended to apply when air temperature are 50 degrees or above.

Following is some helpful information on this product: when applied as label directed, it will help to prevent crabgrass seeds from germinating, plus, it will help to kill young crabgrass plants (up to approximately 4 weeks old, and less than 2" in diameter), and, it will help to kill only the listed broadleaf weeds (ie: dandelions) that are present at application time (it does not prevent new broadleaf weeds from appearing), that are young/actively growing. Plus, it feeds your lawn for up to 2 - 3 months. Apply to a non-stressed qualifying and established lawn in mid-to-late late spring when there is constant warm soil temperatures, when as many as the listed broadleaf weeds are visible and young/actively growing (keep in mind that this product does not prevent new ones from coming up). No mowing 3 days prior to application and no mowing 3 days after application. Apply to a wet lawn (ie: morning dew) that also has good warm soil moisture, and, no rain and/or water for at least 24 - 48 (preferably 48 hours) hours after application; at which time a thorough rain and/or watering should occur. Also, you mentioned plenty of rain in your area which can cause your lawn to have fungus and mold issues. We would recommend contacting your local county cooperative extension for advice on the brown spots on your lawn.
