Tasted like perfume!

Mighty Mouse?
I bought the lean cuisine Swedish meatballs, four or five days ago and just cooked it today on December 27, 2025 As I’m eating it, and I had to add ketchup because it tasted like dog food, I’ve been into something hard. I spit it out into the bowl and took my fork and lifted it up, I’ve patted some of the juices off of it and it looks just like the claw from a mouse and there were five more other hard parts in my bowl, I discovered. I’ve had this many times, but I think it used to taste better had to dump a lot of salt on it and like I say ketchup, which hides a lot of evils.

What happened?
These used to be tasty and flavorful, a convenient meal. The sauce would thicken and envelop the pasta and meatballs. Now the pasta is watery and thin, bland and flavorless. I don’t know if hey changed the recipe or what but will not purchase again.

Bones??
Unknown rock hard pieces mixed into the meatballs. Not sure if it is plastic, tiny bones, or what but it HURT my tooth. Do not buy these unless you want to make an unplanned dentist visit. Taste was a bit off as well, meatballs had a slight fishy taste.

Swedish meatballs WERE my favorite!
I've been eating the Lean Cuisine Swedish meatballs for MONTHS, and up until now....this flavor was my favorite. But, lo and behold I got down to the last bite and saw to my HORROR...a little square cube that looked like it was a mushroom!! I detest mushrooms and any dish they're in, but this is the 1st time in the many, many months that I've been eating this, I literally saw a mushroom. I immediately looked up the ingredients and saw clear as bell...that mushrooms were listed. I then came to this site to see if there was a possibility the recipe had changed and the addition of mushrooms might've been something new. NO such luck. I just never noticed. Unfortunately, not that I do know and irregardless of the yummy taste, I can never eat this again! I know...kinda weird and petty, but I can't knowingly ingest mushrooms!! Ewww.... I guess it's spaghetti and meat sauce from now on, AFTER I thoroughly checked its ingredients!! I am SO disappointed.

One I Always Come Back To
While it's not my absolute favorite, this is definitely amongst my top 5 meals from Lean Cuisine. It feels balanced, the noodles have a great texture, and the meatballs and gravy have good flavor. I always have at least one in my freezer!

These were the best low calorie/high protein frozen meal but recently they changed the sauce and it’s awful and flavorless. Really disappointed because they were a staple in my fridge.

This was horrendous. The meatballs are not good whatsoever. I focused on the noodles and sauce, but even that had me gagging after a couple bites.
