Buy Muffins ALREADY SPLIT
First, I love Thomas Products. I bought the Sourdough English Muffins. The package says “Easy-to-Split”! They were not! I have three pieces (halves) uneven with a pile of crumbs and no use for Egg McMuffins Brunch.

Thomas’ English Muffins were something I grew up eating (I’m 51) in my Grandmother home. They were always such a treat to me. Whether made as a breakfast sandwich or with just butter. I recently bought some and notice that it says on the package “easy to split” now although Thomas’ is the best tasting muffin it is not easy to spit and now a days VERY thin and super hard to split. I tore them!!! Not cool. I toasted them with butter and since I tore them the butter was everywhere. SAD that this special treat has come to this.

Sweet from added sugar, fast fermented
The texture is similar to the original muffin variety, but the flavor has a sweetness to it. I used it for eggs benny and was not a fan. Maybe they'd be alright with jam or honey I imagine. Also, they use a speed fermentation process of 8-10 hours which does not reduce as much gluten as longer fermented sourdough.

YUMMY!!
We love all Thomas' products, including these sourdough english muffins. They toast up nice and crispy. Great flavor. But the question I ask is why are they so small?! LOL. One doesn't fill your craving. That being said, they are super duper good.

Half a muffin
There muffins are a waste of money. Instead of 6 delicious muffins you get 6 half muffins. Very disappointed. Won't buy Thomas muffins anymore.
