Amy's Gluten Free Vegan Tofu Scramble Frozen Breakfast Wrap - 5.5oz

I grabbed these on a total whim because I'm GF and just need easy meals. I had tried the GF bean burrito and it's decent, but wanted something with more of a breakfast burrito vibe - I like these more! Another review said it lacked flavor, but I disagree entirely. I was even skeptical going in, not particularly hopeful for the tofu, and ended up with my mind blown. I thought it was incredibly flavorful - dare I say: tasty. I love the simplicity of being able to just toss it in the microwave and having a satisfying bite. Love it with a little Greek yogurt or sour cream and salsa, but solid on it's own, too! They're a little pricey for size, but considering it's GF and not utter trash... I'll take it.

This was my first time trying one of Amy’s Kitchen frozen wraps. I don’t eat tofu too often, but I thought this was a quick, tasty, and healthy feeling breakfast wrap. It filled me up. I’m trying to get more meatless protein options in my diet, so this is perfect. I didn’t even notice the difference that it was gluten free from a product with gluten. I would purchase this again or try Amy’s Kitchen other products.

The tortilla is a little mushy if prepared in the microwave so I would prepare if in an air fryer. Everything tastes very fresh and it is not too salty. Great go-to for breakfast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally go for the Tofu breakfasts scramble with hashbrowns but I was excited to try the wrap version. It was surprisingly nice and I liked how portable it was. I prepared it in my air fryer and it was ready in 15 minutes. It was flaky and crisply and I ate it in the car on the way to work. The spice level was nice, it was fresh and light and the tofu was delicious. I will be repurchasing these wraps and making them an important part of my mornings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a vegetarian and do not have any gluten restrictions, but I enjoy swapping out a meat meal with a vegetarian option every now and again. Surprisingly delicious! I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would (not that I thought it’d be bad, but more neutral?). A splash of chipotle Tabasco sauce made it perfection. The wrap is like a thin, crepe that is wonderfully crispy crunchy but doesn’t cut up the roof of your mouth. The inside is flavorful and filling. The texture of the hash browns also adds a nice crunch, if you’re big on mouth feel of foods. One thing of note though, the cooking directions are a bit ridiculous for the oven method. It’s a total of 2-3 minutes in the microwave, but the oven method takes 45-50 minutes for one little wrap?? I took my chances with the air fryer. I did not wrap it in foil (which is under the oven cooking instructions). I air fried it in the center rack at 400F for 7 minutes, flipped it, then an additional 7 minutes. Came out perfectly! I would definitely buy this again.

The taste itself was just okay, although I should say I’m not the biggest burrito fan, so take it with a grain of salt. I ended up needing to cook this one in the microwave for twice as long as it said on the wrapper and it was still lukewarm.

Alrighty for starters, I had this for dinner not for breakfast so maybe this impacts my opinion. But when I first microwaved and placed a towel over it, it fell apart instantly. Im glad I ended up having it like a casual meal instead of on the go because this is not meant for that unfortunately. I think the part about the wrap being gluten free was the cause of that response. The tofu scramble is basically the same thing as the Amys tofu breakfast frozen meal (minus the red sauce) so if you've had that- it's the same thing! Nonetheless, I would say it works but you need to understand you will not have it in one peice. Maybe it would've worked out differently if you had pan fried it or cooked it over a stove like a normal burrito. In the pics I paired it with some kimchi, so ignore that part when making your judgements.

The flavors were rich and satisfying, and I couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free or vegetarian. It was filling enough for breakfast, paired with a side of berries and coffee to start my day. However, I think the cooking instructions could be improved. The microwave instructions only suggested cooking it for 45 seconds, but it took me longer than that. I ended up cooking it for 45 seconds on each side.

These are delicious but Target bumped the price of all Amy's burritos from $3.99 to $4.29. That's a 7% price increase with zero change to the product.

The ingredients are good and I thought it was tasty. The wrap was good, but it tasted like a veggie wrap the hashbrowns get lost in the mix.

Overall, it's not bad, just need extra seasoning or dipp sauce
