Breakfast sandwich perfect
Adjust your expectations…these are really thin. And just cooking and eating them on their own? A bit rubbery. But they do pack a good flavor punch and they are PERFECT in my breakfast sandwich maker. I’ll buy them again for that.

We couldn't eat it!
We have been eating the classic pork breakfast sausage, and thought we'd try the chicken & maple. I bit into it and couldn't stand the taste -- i am usually not a picky eater! It tastes chemically to me somehow. I can't quite identify it. But also tastes way too salty. I offered my husband to try some (NOT telling him my opinion to not sway him) , and he immediately spit it out disgusted. I don't know how this recipe ended up on store shelves!

Great alternative to pork sausage patties!
I was nervous about trying anything that’s fully cooked from the freezer section. I was also nervous about trying a chicken sausage patty over a pork sausage patty. I’m happy to report that these are very good! I eat them in a sausage and egg sandwich on whole wheat English muffins. They’re super filling and will hold you over until lunch! They’re also very quick to cook! I wouldn’t recommend the microwave though. That’s what’s going to make them rubbery. Do the little bit of extra effort and throw them in a frying pan for a couple of minutes.

these have been my favorite frozen sausages for years. But the new recipe has ruined it for me. The texture is now rubbery and soft, and the flavor is a lot worse than it used to be. sad to say, but you've lost a customer. Bring back the old recipe!

Quality concerns
My 2 year old really likes the Chicken & Maple Breakfast Sausage Patties and she's been having them for months. Today I bit into a patty and came away with a sharp piece of bone. It' scared me because my 2 years old daughter doesn't chew all her food and could have been digesting them all along or could bite into one at some point and get injured. I'm worried about the quality of these products.

Changed recipe
I used to like these. They weren't overly seasoned/spiced as that tends to irritate my stomach, but they've changed something. Once cooked the sausage stretches out to this really thin quality and it's like you aren't eating much of anything, definitely not meat. Not sure what happened.

Paper Thin Sausage patties
They are so thin now and look already toasted. Use to buy these all the time but they changed the taste quality and THIN sausage patty. I tried it again recently thinking maybe was bad batch was the same paper thin sausage patty. I returned them. Not the same quality.

Yuck they changed the recipe!
My picky toddler used to love these! We counted on them for weekly breakfast. The most recent box we bought is a terrible sponge like texture with a totally different flavor profile. Bring back the old breakfast sausage recipe! These are not edible and I will no longer be buying from this trusted brand that did not notify consumers of the change!

Tasty and Quick Breakfast Option Perfect for Fall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly enjoyed the Applegate Natural Chicken and Maple Breakfast Sausage Patties. For chicken sausage, this was incredibly moist and well-seasoned. It was quick to prepare and the natural seasonings were very much appreciated. I made three or four different styles of breakfast dishes using these patties and they all fit seamlessly. I made a breakfast casserole, omelet, scramble, and hash using this as a different ingredient and it was incredible. I will look to buy this product in the future. I am thrilled with the overall quality. The all-natural ingredients that go into this are so apparent and I am too satisfied that this is a low-calorie breakfast option. I would absolutely recommend it to all.
