I was pleasantly surprised by this steamer. It is good; however, I could not quite eat it all. It is very filling. It has 21 grams of protein. I will buy it again. I am allergic to MSG and Autolyzed Yeast Extract so am happy to find something frozen without those ingredients.

Terrible hard to see directions and tasteless food
The directions are not clear and hard to see on the packaging. The product had very little taste, it was due to the directions being hard to see in how to mix. I got zero sauce on my food. I feel cheated with this product. I am not taking a chance and being cheated again by healthy choice.

DAMAGED FOOD PRODUCT--NO RESPONSE
Not edible. Opened the package and all appeared normal. Put it in microwave, when it cooked & I removed it. The bowl was severely damaged. Broken plastic not in the box but gone. I tried to start a return but computer wouldn’t work. Called for over an hour and never got anyone to answer.

yuck. not sure what this was but it was not fried rice! it was more like a soup. also there is way more packaging and way less food. i do not recommend this.

I bought this 5-4-25 and I put it in the microwave. I heated it up and I took it out stir it up and the lima beans were hard as a brick I cooked it like I was supposed to. I took the lima beans out and ate the chicken fried rice.

Not very good
I bought this today instead of getting fast food. Took 4 bites and trashed it. Just not good. Soggy rice, sauce is too much and too sweet, chicken was dry and inedible. The only thing that was good were the carrots and the edamame.

Dissappoinment
I purchased three healthy choice dinners for our late meals at night. Neither my husband nor I eat much. I cooked this product as directed. Put half on his plate with a small salad, and half on my plate with a small salad. I took my first bite and both the chicken and lima beans were hard. I ate all of mine, with some of the hard chicken, even though it was awful. After the second bite, my husband put his in the trash and got a bowl of Ice Cream. I thought this was bad because the seal on the top was not good. However, last night I cooked the Oriental chicken product (don't remember the name) which was sealed tight. Again, the chunks of chicken were hard. I will not be purchasing these product again. At one time, I thought Healthy Choice was the best. Sad

Chicken Fried Rice *Adjacent*
Does not taste like what you'd expect chicken fried rice to taste like. Has an excessive amount of this odd sweet sauce instead of a little soy which not only make it taste drastically differently from normal CFR, but makes everything soggy. Was like eating overly chunky oatmeal with chicken. Not very tasteful. If you absolutely need to eat then go ahead. If not I'd suggest going with a different option.

Decent but needs improvement
The flavor was decent but many pieces of chicken were rock hard so I had to throw them out. Also, there was only about a cup of food so to make a full meal, I would have needed to add something to it. I like Healthy Choice meals usually but this one shouldn't have made the cut.

Way too much plastic
We have a plastics problem, people. Recycling doesn’t cut it. Single use plastics like this are irresponsible. The food itself was OK, but would’ve been less bland if it was actually cooked in the sauce instead of hovering above it in a plastic steamer tray. Silly.

Not good at all.
Tasted nothing like the fried rice I have had ever, no flavor whatsoever, Edamame inedible, hard to chew, I cooked it exactly like the other dinners and not good. I love most of the dinners from this company but they should scrap this one or improve the recipe.

Don’t add sugar to me food and call it healthy!
This product was very disappointing. I had difficulty in choking it down. It was unexpectedly sweet and had little flavor otherwise. It actually makes me avoid Healthy Choice brand completely.
