What is with the laundry list of ingredients? So many emulsifiers and preservatives. Bad for your gut. No thanks.

This is the only cottage cheese I’ll eat because it tastes the best. However, this last container I bought wreaks of sour milk: clearly, a container broke during transit and spilled in the shipping box, leaving this and other containers smelling foul. The cottage cheese inside the container was fine but trying to eat out of it (yes, I eat directly from the container, sue me) was impossible. I would normally never include something as small as this in a review about the actual product itself but Target needs to up their game if they consider it acceptable to put a soiled container on the shelf for purchase!

This is my go-to cottage cheese. It has the exactly right amount of tanginess and the curds are the right size and consistency for me. Most importantly, I don’t find this to be too salty. So many other brands taste SO salty that I can’t even eat them. Glad I’ve found this product that is consistently excellent!
