The best frozen Pizza I’ve had
Seen this pizza at Publix. It said Chicago Style. Being from the Chicago area I had to try it and glad I did. Great crust, sausage is perfect. Reminded me of the small pizzerias around the city.

Better Frozen Pizza Than Any Chain Shop
From the first bite, Home Run Inn makes it obvious: this isn’t another conveyor‑belt pie assembled by microwave logic. You get a crust that’s actually crusty — not the cardboard mimicry you see at most chains. It strikes a perfect balance between chew and crisp, like it walked off its own little artisanal pizza runway and slapped your taste buds for good measure. The sauce? Real tomatoes, real herbs, real flavor — not that one‑note sugary tomato paste that tries to masquerade as pizza sauce at chains that rely more on marketing than ingredients. It actually tastes like sauce that was cooked with intention, not squeezed from some industrial red blob. Cheese is where the difference stops being subtle and starts being outright meaningful. We’re talking gooey, rich, melty mozzarella that pulls in those glorious strings and actually tastes like cheese, not the imitation dairy goo some chains insist on calling pizza topping. Little Caesars might call their glop “hot‑n‑ready,” but Home Run Inn’s cheese is the kind you’d happily volunteer to share at game night. Compared to Papa Johns, which tries really hard but still ends up in the middle of the road, Home Run Inn feels like the clear winner — more nuanced flavors, better texture, and a whole lot less feeling like you just ate a sodium experiment. Pizza Hut is fun for stuffed crust novelty, but you can tell their frozen offerings are basically trying to imitate a dine‑in experience that always felt a bit mediocre to begin with. Little Caesars’ fare might be the speed demon of the pizza world, but speed doesn’t make you good. Home Run Inn takes its time getting things right. Every slice tastes like someone cared about simplicity and quality over clever slogans and glossy ads. In the matchup of chain pizza vs Home Run Inn frozen pizza, it’s not even close. If you want something that feels like real pizza — that has actual flavor, texture, and integrity — you’ll be disappointed when you go back to the big chains once you’ve tasted Home Run Inn.

Best Authentic Frozen Pizza
Ever since we moved from Chicago to the Southeast, we haven’t found any pizza that comes close to Home Run Inn Pizza. The sauce is so good and that buttery crust is seriously the best. We’re just happy we can still grab our go-to sausage and pepperoni at the grocery store. Honestly, their frozen pizza beats pretty much anything else we’ve tried—fresh or frozen. It’s our Pizza Friday tradition, and we’ve told friends about it too… now they’re Home Run Inn fans as well.

Hit a Home Run for Dinner
We first purchased this pizza a few months back. A quick dinner doesn't need to break the budget or worry about what it contains. The fact we were able to help a local business and get great food is a plus!

Cook longer
Love this pizza but did 8 min at 450 and should’ve left it in 10-12 min so it would be hotter. Good ingredients

Great taste balance!
My Beautiful Bride picked up this pizza for our Friday Pizza Night. The crust was nicely crispy & supported the tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni & sausage toppings admirably with ease. What is remarkable is the peerless balance in taste between the crust, cheese & toppings. Home Run Inn is easily my favorite frozen pizza because it certainly does taste like a frozen pizza!!!

Delicious, cheesy,
I never have high expectations for frozen sausage pizza, but this pizza was full of great flavors and a lot of meat. The sausage tasted like great sausage. And the cheese was perfection. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
