Too salty and sour for my taste

I eat these all the time but today I open this particular bag and all my chips are over cooked and has no flavor

Favorite chip for life just not as strong as they used to be you will get a good bag not and then but not like the past when every bag way extremely coated in salt and vinegar regardless love your work hope you have a great day love slt vin #1 fan

Moved to PA just about 3 years ago and tried these s&v chips. They were unbelievable. The tart, the salty, the most amazing s&v chip I’d ever tasted. I felt the same way about the horseradish, just delicious. Over the last year, I can’t find the horseradish anymore and what I originally thought was a bad batch of s&v turned into a second, then third and now, months later, fourth bag of bland s&v chips. That original, fantastically bold flavor and lingering taste from 2 to 3 years ago is gone. Open a bag, pop a chip in your mouth and there’s a slight vinegary hint, a pinch of salt and then it’s gone. Almost instantly, you notice the flavor of s&v disappear and then, just fried potato. Where the vinegar used to linger and leave your mouth watering for the next chip, only the sad, bland flavor of fried potato chip. I say it’s sad, not due to that cherished, fried, starchy goodness that makes a plain, salted kettle chip the delicious icon of American food it is, but because that should not be the predominant flavor of your s&v chips. Obviously from the more recent reviews, folks noticed. Fix it.

A year ago I got a bag of herrs boardwalk salt n vinegar chips, and was knocked silly by the intensity. Today I got a bag of KETTLE COOKED salt and vinegar chips and they tasted like regular potato chips. I want the old one back, the one that’s not kettle cooked

I wish the seasoning was consistent (stronger). Some bags barely even taste like S&V, others are nice and strong! When they’re good, they’re great. When they’re not, I throw them out - not worth it to eat a plain chip.

These have been my favorite chips for my entire life, my kryptonite, and they now are so bland and taste different like a different vinegar or something, I want to throw out majority of the bags. Please make them saltier and stronger again! When they are a good bag they are the best chips ever.

I have been on a quest for some time now trying to find the best salt and vinegar chips. I’ve tried so many brands, types, styles, ect. THESE ARE THE ONE! These chips give me the will to live and every time I find them I have to stock up because I fear that one day they might disappear. Without these chips I would be nothing. Please DON’T ever discontinue your Kettle Cooked Boardwalk Salt & Vinegar flavored chips.

I bought a bag this afternoon. The chips in this bag were soggy and stale. I've never had that happen before. I'm sure one off's like this happen once in awhile, but still disappointing.

Lived all over the country and everywhere has their local chips, but nothing compares to Herr's. So glad I can have them delivered!

I am a huge fan of anything salt and vinegar, and these are by far the best salt and vinegar chips I've ever had. Also the actual quality of the potatoes they use is very obvious, there are hardly any brown edges or weird spots on any of the chips. Also if you're a folded kettle chip fan like me, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the amount of foldies in the bag. Make yourself a roast beef sandwich and have some of these on the side, thank me later!

These are some of the best S&V chips if you like the kind with tons of flavor. I hate that I can order them occasionally online, they’re our favorite!

My husband and I recently moved across the country from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Tupelo, Mississippi. Clearly Herr's isn't being sold in Mississippi, as they'd be a long way from home. I wasn't gonna let that stop me so we got on the website and ordered a box of 12 full-size bags of my favorite kind. I put in my old PA address and emailed the company that afternoon about my mistake. It was corrected by 8 AM the next morning from a kind woman, Sally K. McIntyre. These chips remind me of being back north, they weren't expensive at all, and you can tell it really is a family company. Keep up the amazing work, Herr's.
