Description
Campo Viejo Reserva Red Wine is an elegant expression of premium Rioja wines made from Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes, resulting in a beautiful, structured Spanish red wine. Rounded and well-balanced, this Spanish wine is very attractive on the palate with ripe fruit, spices, tobacco and toasted oak enriched by the complex aromas developed during bottle aging. Elegant and soft tannins give way to a long, complex, lingering finish in this middleweight red wine. Aged for a minimum of 3 years, our Reserva wine is aged for 18 months in American and French oak barrels and 18 more months in bottle. The end result is a rounded, flavorful and well-balanced wine. Serve this dry red wine with red meat, grills and roasts, mushroom risotto, or mature and blue cheeses. Add some pasión with Campo Viejo wines. Drink Responsibly.

I'm Hispanic so I thought why not get this Spanish wine? Well, I regret it. It tastes bitter and nasty. I prefer the Italian red wine instead. It's a much better flavor than this. I'm dissatisfied with this wine I wasted my money! - Isabel Mendez

Good introductory Rioja
I'm drinking the 2017 which is solid. Elegantly styled with light oak, earth and spice notes. Bright acidity, modest tannins. Red fruits dominate with nutmeg, touch of tobacco, cedar, vanilla and just a hint of dried coconut. Last vintage was better. B 88 pts

Campo Viejo riojas are one of the most dependable, easy-drinking, palatable wines I’ve ever found. Moreover, they are affordable. They go with everything from charcuterie boards to pizza to steak. Friendly, unpretentious, but always pleasing.

Can I say that this Campo Viejo Art Series Reserva did not disappoint? You can whisper Viva España after tasting their wines. Its art series wines have an oaky and wood aroma with medium finish. Since I love dry wines with tobacco taste, I do love this wine. Best pair with beef, lamb, veal.
