Acrobat isartfully crafted in the gorgeous hills and valleys of western Oregon, with an eye on sustainable winemaking practices. In 2023 we experimented with pressing within minutes of harvest in order to preserve freshness, and minimize skin contact. This reduced the need for fining to remove bitterness from the wine. The Acrobat Pinot Gris was fermented in 100% stainless steel at cool temperatures to maintain a pure expression of the fruit. The result is a true hallmark Oregon wine; balanced, layered and expressive. The 2023 Acrobat Pinot Gris is fresh and brilliant. Fruit-forward notes of pear, passion fruit, and honeydew melon intrigue the nose and carry through to the palate. Pleasant minerality and nicely balanced acidity round out a medium-bodied mouthfeel that concludes with a crisp, spirited finish.
