Description

Sustainably farmed and vineyard driven, Charles & Charles Rose Wine is an absolute American original. Pure and balanced, this high tone blush wine is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Counoise. The aromatics lead with notes of bright citrus, wild raspberry and cherry, rose petal and lavender. All this carries through on a broad mid-palate and finally a tangy bright finish. This pink wine earned 90 points from James Suckling. Open a bottle to serve with a strawberry salad with goat cheese, or simply enjoy a glass on a summer evening. A dry wine from Washington, this Rose wine comes from the Columbia Valley. During winemaking, each tank is treated a little differently to ensure each has its own unique perspective. The wine is then blended, creating the most complex and multi layered rose. This bottled wine has 11.5% alcohol by volume. Charles & Charles wines express the beauty and power of Washington State.

Good rose if not wanting sweet

Not bad for a rose that isn’t sweet but is more tart. Not as dry as some but decent not sweet sipping Rose. Not as flavorful as some but very easy to drink

DO NOT BUY, SEAL FAILS, WINE IS OFF

This wine was great when it was still sold with a cork, and I had it 10 years ago. The metal screw top cap fit loosely on the bottle, I just got, and I think it was never sealed. The entire metal cap and housing spun around when twisted, it bubbled and fizzed. This is not a carbonated wine. It tasted like burnt vinegar and stale vegetables. I should not have had a sip. The metal cap was very hard to twist as the metal perforations were not enough. But there was also no seal at all.

Best Rose’ Ever

I am learning about wine and Rose’ wines. I googled both the wine makers and I learned a lot. This wine is so refreshing and light. It can go with so many different kinds of food, especially barbecue . If you want to try a great wine and affordable, this is definitely it. Worth the money!! I can’t believe it doesn’t cost more. Lucky for us!! Will definitely repurchase over and over!! This wine also has won many awards!!
