Smooth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised of the taste it’s very smooth. I’ve always like a good cognac. I usually would go for Hennessy, but this is a different option as well. I really like it. It was really smooth with Coke overall we definitely get it again.

Smooth and rich
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I pour a drink I want it to taste smooth and feel like a treat. Th Remy is rich and cozy, with vanilla Carmel notes and a little spice. I like to drink it neat over one big ice cube.

Smooth, rich, and great value — an elevated cognac
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rémy Martin 1738 has a smooth, rich profile that feels luxurious without being harsh. The first sip has notes of caramel and a light sweetness, followed by a warm finish that doesn’t burn. The aftertaste is clean with a hint of spice, and it pairs really well with ginger ale or enjoyed neat. I also liked that it’s not overly acidic or bitter, and the bottle feels premium. For the price point, it delivers great value and complexity. Definitely a nice upgrade if you want something smoother than regular cognac.

It's good 😊
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging was really pretty. You get a good amount for the price. Tasted pretty smooth by itself over ice and tasted really good with a mixer I chose peach and pineapple juice. There was no complex flavor palette to me and there wasn't an aftertaste I probably wouldn't go out looking for this particular alcohol on my own, but if somebody offered it I definitely would drink it again.

Smooth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very smooth and tasty drink. I like it better mixed in cocktails than sipping on it. But there are so many options of drinks that you can make

I like it! You should try
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like drinking cocktails because their taste is light and delicious, and because of the beauty of the colors each type brings. I like drinking wine but many types of wine are too strong so I found a way to drink and reduce the alcohol. That is to mix cocktails, this is the first time I tried Rémy Martin 1738, it is powerful for me, but the taste is great, it has the bitterness of wood and toast. I only drink a small glass, but when I drink by mixing cocktails, I drink a lot.

Smooth with a bit of spice…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal cognac neat and also with a cocktail. The aroma is delightfully strong…intense. Trying it neat, it is very smooth. could really notice the sweet and fruity notes at first taste and spicy oak aftertaste that it settles in. I then tried it using the Royal Tom Collins recipe on the website and the bit of sour from the lemon worked quite well with the cognac. I especially loved how it mixed well with the brandied cherries. Price wise, I think this size bottle is perfect for me, since I don’t drink that often; it’s going to last for a while, so I think the price point is worth it.

I loved it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tasted the Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal and what a wonderful drink! It's super velvety, with that touch of caramel and dried fruit that immediately perfumes the palate, and the flavor offers a perfect combination of sweetness, wood, and spices. It's strong, full-bodied, but very balanced and goes down smoothly. I even detected notes of chocolate at the end. For those who like a more sophisticated cognac, but without being too heavy, this one is well worth it. Elegant, intense, and with an impeccable finish. I loved it!

Impressively rich and smooth cognac
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It opens with warm notes of vanilla, toffee, and toasted oak, followed by subtle hints of dried fruit and baking spice. The texture is silky, the flavor balanced, and the finish long and gently sweet. Despite its smaller bottle, 1738 offers a luxurious sip that feels full-bodied and refined. A great choice for both casual enjoyment and special occasions.

First Sip Impressions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal Cognac for the first time, and it ended up being such a pleasant surprise. I started with it neat in a whiskey glass (I didn’t have a snifter glass on hand), and even without the ideal glassware, it was really enjoyable. The aroma is sweet and caramely right away, and the first sip brings out that toasty French oak with a hint of toffee. It’s smooth, slightly sweet, and has a little spice that gives it a warm, cozy feel—perfect for colder months. I added ice just to see how it changed, and it definitely opened up and leaned even sweeter. It was good both ways, but I preferred it neat where everything felt more balanced and rich. This would pair beautifully with a charcuterie board, especially with chocolates and aged, flavorful cheeses. I drink cognac only occasionally and usually reach for red wine or bourbon/whiskey, but 1738 won me over. I’m definitely adding this to my rotation, and I think I’ll try it in an Old Fashioned next.

The best cognac
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Remy Martin 1738 Accord Royal is considered one of the richest and most powerful Cognacs. In 1870, the centaur logo was born, which is also the constellation of its founder. Centaurs in Greek mythology are creatures with the upper body of a man and the lower body of a horse. They lived alongside gods, heroes and humans in the mountains of Thessaly. Remy Martin 1738 is a smooth, velvety and balanced taste. It has a unique aroma with notes of plum and marmalade that combine beautifully with intense oak, toffee and toast, leaving a complex of soft baking spices on your taste buds.

Approachable Cognac
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal reflects balance between richness, smoothness, and approachability. Created to honor the royal decree granted to Rémy Martin by King Louis XV in 1738, this blend lives up to its legacy with elegance and depth. On the nose, 1738 opens with warm aromas of toasted oak, caramel, and vanilla, followed by dried fruits and a hint of spice. It’s inviting without being overwhelming. The cognac is remarkably smooth. The texture is velvety, almost creamy. It’s an ideal sipper for both seasoned cognac drinkers and newcomers. The finish is warming and slightly sweet, leaving notes of oak and toffee. It also elevates classic cocktails like an Old Fashioned, Sidecar, or even a simple highball. Verdict Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal delivers luxury at a reasonable price point, refined yet accessible cognac that deserves a place on any bar cart—perfect for slow sipping, special ccasions, or impressing guests.

5/5 smooth and royal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal is on another level. From the moment you open the bottle, the aroma alone tells you you’re about to experience something rich and refined. It’s incredibly smooth, warm, and full-bodied — no harsh bite, just a velvety finish that lingers beautifully.
