Wonderful taste! Dry but not too dry.
This wine is absolutely wonderful. I love and prefer dry red foreign to the USA (because of chemical processing standards) wine. My only confusion is on the website it states the alcohol content is 14.5% and on the actual box it states it at 13.5%. Wondering because I look for higher % being these wines are typically drier.

bad valve
The valves on the box is too difficult to manage. Several months ago the valves were different and much easier to actuate. The wine is excellent, just bad valves.

Best wine ever and suddenly disappeared :(
This was our go to malbec but for some reason it disappeared from the shelves and we can’t find it anywhere. The Blackhawk version is not for us and so we have moved on and have been trying other brands. Please bring the original Malbec back!!!!

Bad Batch?
We drink Botabox Malbec regularly and have always enjoyed it. But the box I am drinking from right now is terrible! Hopefully there isn’t a quality control problem, but if this is how it will taste from now on I’m going to have to switch to another brand. What happened???!!!

Best on the market!
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect boxed wine. I came across many that were decent, but didn’t quite hit the spot. Then I came across this dark Malbec. WOW! Complex, refreshing, and full of flavor. This will be a staple in our home for years to come!

Sweet not Dry
I love bold, dark, dry red wine and am very fond of Malbec. I was disappointed in the sweetness of this one. I poured it out because I couldn’t even drink it. I almost wonder if it was completely the wrong wine in the box. Not at all what I expected.

Can't Find It
Visited my daughter in Seattle over the holidays, found this at the grocery store, and tried it. Really good (might replace my Nighthawk Black). Now, home again in Northern California, I can't find it anywhere, even BevMo. Any suggestions?

Very uneven from box to box
I bought a dark Malbec Argentina box a couple of weeks ago in the new Nighthawk Black packaging and it tasted like the BotaBox Malbec from California that was in the old packaging which was a 4 star value. I just bought another box of NightHawk Black Dark Malbec Argentina and it is rough, acid and very disappointing. It feels that BotaBox is a lottery: no consistenecy in the delivery. I would not recommend that wine to anyone. I am not looking for a Primitivo or a Cahors, just a clean Malbec from Argentina.

Best Boxed Wine I've Ever Had!
I have had a lot of boxed wine over the years, along with more expensive wine. This was the most interesting and complex boxed wine I've ever tasted. It was much better than expected - the description on the box that calls it ripe, rich and smooth was accurate. I will definitely be purchasing this again and again. P.S.- I have been to your tasting room when I lived in the area and that was a good experience, too!

Argentinian Malbec in a Nighthawk Black edition? I typically drink one or the other; now I don't have to choose. My two favorites have become one.

Bites like a Malbec does but quite smooth. Fruity like a Cab but dry. Exactly how I prefer my red wine. For the price...you can't ask for better.

My Favorite
This is my go-to wine. Not only is it a great bang for your buck, it is delicious! We even offered Bota Box at our wedding! Great for BBQ's picnics, softball game and so much more!
