Q: How thick is the seat cushion? When you sit on it, can you feel the bolts etc. under the seat?

A: The seat cushion is approximately 3.5 inches of dense foam. You cannot feel the bolts under the seat.

After a month of use, I highly recommend going with a different chair. The chair lacks the sufficient support needed to stay stable and makes a ton of noise when simply reaching forward. The arm rests are cursed, they hurt so much, it’s like resting your arms on concrete. STAY AWAY!!!!

I've been using this chair only a week, but so far, I love it. I needed a good chair since I am working from home on the regular and the one I was using was awful for everyday use. I have bulging discs in my back and sitting all day is hard on me. I decided to try this chair since it looked similar to one I have in my office that I love. I haven't been having issues since using this chair. It is firm. It arrived quickly, the box was slightly damaged, but not bad. The chair was fairly easy to put together. I did have a bit of trouble with the screws for the arms, they didn't want to fit well, but after a few tries, they fit fine.
