Brownberry Organic is the USDA Organic bread line of Brownberry Breads, trusted experts in whole grain loaves since the mid-1900s. Each of our varieties blends whole wheat with other grains, nuts and/or seeds to give our breads the taste and nutrition you love.
It all started back in 1946 with an oven, a mixer, a second-hand delivery truck, and a determined woman named Catherine Clark. Back then, you couldn’t find the premium bread that we love today. Batch by batch, her good, old-fashioned wheat bread came out of the oven looking “brown as a berry.” Today, though Catherine no longer makes it herself, Brownberry Organic is still committed to bringing you bread you can believe in—so you can live your life and love your loaf.

Usually thick bread like this contains milk so to find a bread similar to the thick and rich bread Pepperidge Farm makes but is vegan was great to me. This is my favorite bread ever hands down! It's pretty high in calories but very worth it given its nutritional profile. Having said that, I wish it didn't have as much sugar as it does. So good.

So yummy. I used to buy the cheapest whole grain bread that had more slices of bread, however I have cut down on bread and it was a hassle freezing and defrosting the bread as I go. Switching over to this bread, it’s nice to have smaller count of slices and it is very tasty. It’s softer and the seeds add a good crunch. Definitely worth the $2 more if you ask me.
