The lamp itself is exactly what I was looking for. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the workmanship. The lamp shade area is not straight, it sits tilted down on one side giving the glass globe a very crooked appearance. The packaging was very messy, with tiny Styrofoam Balls flying everywhere. If you purchase this product, open it outdoors.

Get different packaging
The lamp is good, but one of the metal pipes came dented so I had to beat it with a hammer to get them to screw together. The packaging is an absolute nightmare. There was styrofoam all over my home. Good lamp tho.

Quality very poor
I wanted to love this so badly even despite the other reviews but the quality is bad. The threading on the pole was soldered on at an angle so it doesn’t screw on straight. There are scratches in several places. The lamp is too heavy from the glass and leans forward- definitely not sturdy. The base doesn’t have a notch for the card either which makes an already not sturdy base not sit flat on the floor. Am returning sadly.
