Not a child-friendly train.

Would not recommend. The track is precarious to put together without any sort of haptic feedback "click" to let you know it is together. It is way easier to derail the train than it is to put on the track. It is also difficult to link the cars together. It would not be fine if your house does not have small children. However, if you don't have small children in your house, you probably have the disposable income to buy something better, which is what I would recommend.
