Q: How many hours will each size, the small and the large, candles burn? What material are the wicks and do they produce soot?

A: Great questions! Our Tin Candles burn for up to 12 hours, Small Candles burn up to 25 hours and the Large Candles burn up to 35 hours. Additionally, our wicks are composed to paper and cotton and keeping the wicks trimmed will help prevent sooting. -JJ, Mrs. Meyer's Consumer Care

The candles were thrown in a box without any protection so as they are glass arrived broken. Target is asking that I return the broken candles. Will not be purchasing glass items from Target again.

Bought this candle and the smell was horrible at first then I left it on for awhile and the smell grew on me I then realized I was used to smelling chemical candles they smell so good this one smells natural although I’m still skeptical about the fragrance I also noticed these don’t give me a headache or shortness or breath like the expensive ones I’ve been buying

I no longer purchase other candles. these are original in scent and handy. Nice top to cover when not lit. Easy to store close by so I do not have to display the candle all day long. Or display it, nice compact look.

The scent projection has diminished significantly after just a few burns, and the bottom half of the candle lacks fragrance altogether. It used to be a favorite with a strong and pleasant scent projection.

I love the scent of this candle and I've owned quite a few of them but we've noticed depending on the batch you get an uneven burn. This last one purchased at target burned straight down the center leaving most of the wax along the sides until the wax suffocated the wick. It's a bummer the consistency isn't there with the meyers candles anymore, but it seems to happen more frequently than in the past.

I’ve been using lavender-scented Mrs. Meyer’s candles for a couple decades. They are my go-to candle and my favorite fragrance. Calming, peaceful, welcoming scent. So good!!! And they burn for a long time. When my supply gets low, I playfully tell my husband, that additional funds miraculously showed up in our candle budget!
