[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about this product: If the print doesn't come out well on the first try, you can redo it as many times as you need to without wasting any material. Baby's hands don't get dirty and don't have to be still for a long time. What I don't like about this product: The included circle cutter is very large. I fit my baby's hand and foot on one circle. Which is great but too big for an ornament. I will probably hang it on a separate hook not on my tree. Or use your own cookie cutter and make a smaller circle - there is enough material to make a couple small prints. The rolling pin is small and I had a hard time getting a smooth surface, so I just used my baking rolling pin. (I received this product for free in exchange for my review.)

I was confused at first on how the ornament ends up as a perfectly round, but it just cuts right out cookie-cutter style. the glitter is a fun touch! we had these when i was a kid but they smelled bad and were not shimmery. LOVE this kit! Appreciate that it didn't make a mess. Someone knows what they're doing :)

While I have done hand print keepsakes in the past, this was my first time using a glitter one! Babyprints Christmas Ornament came as a complete kit, with everything included and ready to go. I appreciated how the air dry clay didn't involve any mixing or setting--it was ready to go right out of the box! The instructions were very clear, and it was super simple to set up. It was easy to get an impression once I had the clay rolled out. I did notice that if you "mess up" and roll the clay out again, it will have some bubbles from the first time around. Nothing major (and the glitter covers most of it) but just to be aware. Also, the "ornament" is quite big! The cutter is about 5-1/2" in diameter. This helps if you have an older child (my 5-year old daughter's had fits in it) but seems a little intense for an ornament. Also, the "straw" used to make the hole in the clay (for the hanger) was a little tough to do. But that wasn't a big issue. The glitter was a fun addition and I loved the sparkle. I would get this kit for anyone with a baby around Christmas time!

I'm slways looking for ways to make little keep sakes of my children getting handprints when they are small is always a challenge this definitely made it much easier ill be looking to give these as gifts to anyone I know having a baby in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while to get the clay to mold and lay flat since it isn't quite like playdough but is a little softer than modeling clay. The rolling pin was a little difficult to use in order to make the clay completely flat, but with some patience and practice, I was able to avoid any bumps or uneven spots. When I pressed my baby's hand into the clay, there were spots by the fingertips that did crinkle around, but the imprint was still visible. It is difficult to see the imprint in darker lighting, but I feel it would last long and not break easily. It was wonderfully convenient to have a clean way to mold my baby's hand! It was so nice not having to wash paint off his hands and underneath his fingernails. I love how nicely his hand imprinted on the clay and that it came with sparkles to add a nice touch to the ornament. This truly is a thoughtful present and it doesn't take much time to do it. I have a wild child who does not cooperate with hand print things so I really liked this because if you mess up, you just knead the dough and start over. It's also virtually mess free, no baby wipes needed or chasing a painted toddler around the house before they touch anything. There was even enough left over to make a small ornament of our dogs paw print, which was cute too! Would definitely recommend this for keepsake imprints because of how mess-free, forgiving, and easy it is.

Cute craft but not doable with my newborn’s hands as the foam is hard to press down to get a print. I suspect it would be easier with a toddler who could press unassisted. I ended up using cookie cutters to make various ornament shapes rather wasting all the foam.

Ive done these before - the material of this one is different than I have used in the past but it works. I do love the glitter.

My little mans hand is going to look so cute. The only thing I don’t like is that there’s only enough for one, so better not make a mistake. With kids though, that’s always bound to happen. I would have liked to have at least had two.

I received this product to try for my honest opinion. Very cute set, comes with everything that you need to make a cute ornament. I recommend for children under 2 though it states it can be used for older children as it will be awfully thin if the hand is to large.

Super cute and SUPER easy. I can’t wait to gift this to my son’s grandparents.

Was so-so. I think if my son was smaller than toddler age I would have liked it more. It was quick and to the point so perfect for a gift for grandparents to make then and there on Christmas day but for personal use I think I would prefer homemade because I feel that makes part of the memory. Perfect for those last minute in law gifts because you totally forgot being a new parent you needed one.
