Review of Braided Speaker Wire with Banana Plug
I ordered a bunch of these for a project. Overall, a good deal at the price point. Once notable exception. The quality of these speaker wires have gone down a bit. I ordered a bunch pre-pandemic and the quality (literally the braided cable itself) had a higher quality feel to it. These feel a little cheaper. More then likely a back-end provider change. For the price and the "current" quality, I would buy these again. Just wish the cable jackets were a little better and that the cables (L/R) were binded together a little better.

Still hasn?t shipped after almost a month
Ordered on August 8 and it still hasn?t even shipped as of August 30. I will amend this review if it ever shows up.

Great speakers wires
These were very nice quality. I'm not sure why, but I assumed the Black & Red caps were already screwed on, so I knew which end was which. Wasn't hard to put them on, but if someone was not paying attention, it could have been switched around. Once I put the caps on though, these worked great and feel very solid. I would get another set again, but I feel it should be noted about the end caps being loose. Not sure if this is an option, but if there was a way to label them, I would have paid extra for that as well, but straight out the gate, these are fantastic speaker wires.

Works well...unless you need to unplug them.
These are nice looking plugs and work well, but when I pulled them out of the back of my receiver to move it last week, at least one plug on each pair had the springy gold part come off in the receiver (I had to get needle nose pliers to get that part out) and one had the whole gold part come off. Not sure what the deal was with that. I’ve never had problems with Monoprice wires before. They are sending me new ones and we’ll see if they are any better (I sure hope so!). I only had them in the receiver about two months before removing them.

Love what this cable offers. Packaged clean and professionally. Materials of the cable are excellent. Solid build quality and premium feel. Could not tell any degradation of sound between this and AudioQ 14ga bulk cable. Good buy and A time saver.

Great braided banana plug speaker cables.
They are great. Thick and sturdy. The build quality is excellent. I also got them on sale at a good price. I have them connected to my 2 floor standing speakers in my living room. Definitely 5 stars.

Poor quality workmanship
I was disappointed in these cables. Three of the banana plugs came apart the 1st time I plugged them and unplugged them. I purchased 4 sets of these. The tips pull away from the underlying pin connector. I have used many monoprice pieces and have never had a problem until now. Come on Monoprice you can do better than this. I will be trying other cables from monoprice. I just got a bad set this time.

Good value speaker cables
Good cables. Good 'bang for the buck'. Very clearly designed to easily tell which is left and right: that actually comes in handy when you're trying to get a look at the back of an amp or speaker and it's hard to see what you're doing back there. Reasonably flexible. The banana plugs make for a solid connection and the quickest changes (connecting/reconnecting) if your particular equipment takes banana plugs. For the best sound, buy the shortest speaker cables that your particular room/placement situation will allow. I'd take these over cheap 'zip cord' ANY day!

Definitely Recomended
I don't claim to have "Golden Ears" but I've been involved in what used to be called "High Fidelity" for decades. Is my hearing as acute as it once was, no. But it's still pretty good, for which I thank God! I'm glad that I bought these Monoprice speaker cables, and I recommend them without reservation.
